“Easy to use
Pros
It is fairly easy to use and I really love how realistic the renders look. They are so lifelike that sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between our renders and a photograph.
Cons
Sometimes it can be slow especially when I am importing SketchUp models with a lot of detail.

“A fair experience overall
Pros
The renders are hyper realistic and there are multiple customization options for materials, effects and the library which I like the most.
Cons
It requires other software to be running simultaneously and demands constant switching between them which is a bit of a hassle.

“User-friendly
Pros
Lumion software is simple to use, with a vast library of materials, objects and even vegetation. Overall it meets almost all our requirements.
Cons
The major issue I noticed is not having a compatible computer.

“Nothing so special about it
Pros
Well I would say it is better to stay away from it as there is not much good about it and that is about all there is to it.
Cons
It takes a long time to import and save and there are problems with texture retrieval. Also it is pretty basic hardly any option for undoing actions, the tab key to move between cells does not work and there is no way to create our own Lumion library for plants and characters with their corresponding options.

“Good project rendering and mapping software
Pros
Not only I find it really easy to use but it also gives us a realistic perspective for each project.
Cons
One thing I have noticed is that it is very heavy and not every PC can run it smoothly.

“Reliable but not perfect

“good software
Pros
It is really an amazing tool. As not only is it easy to use but also works quite fast.
Cons
I would say the render quality is not great mainly for those looking for detailed 3D work.

“Works perfectly fine
Pros
The landscapes and all the flora assets are beautiful. The speed at which it renders high quality views is unmatched too as I have never seen any other software do it better than this.
Cons
Honestly I have not had any issues with Lumion. But just a suggestion to simplify the process of selecting imported models.

“Loved it
Pros
Lumion live sync plugin for Archicad works smoothly. Also I find it very user-friendly, with a great texture library and a wide selection of objects.
Cons
It takes up a lot of memory and we cannot set different settings for separate scenes which is kind of a limitation.

“How is it compared to others?
Pros
The best feature in my opinion is how easy it is to use compared to other 3D programs like 3D Max. With Lumion you don't need a course to learn it as you can just practice and improve over time. Plus it gives you a very realistic view of what the vibe or design would look like in real life.
Cons
I think there should be more textures added along with more background and city views. For example it would be great to see shots from cities in the Middle East as we frequently work on projects in that region

“World's best architectural rendering software
Pros
For realistic renderings this is the best tool. As a civil engineer I use it to create realistic 3D renderings of structures. It adds great illusions and effects to make the renderings look more lifelike. Also it allows for 3D image rendering, sceneries and animations.
Cons
Since this is a high power rendering engine, keep in mind that it requires a powerful PC to get the job done.

“Highest quality tool
Pros
What I like most about Lumion is the rendering quality both for images and videos. It is by far the easiest and highest quality tool I have used for video rendering in my projects.
Cons
The only drawback is that its large size takes up a lot of space when installed.
