“Awesome TTS tool

Pros

It is very easy to use and the premium voices sound really realistic. There are also so many ways to import text into the app which is awesome.

Cons

The pricing is much in line with other brands but it is still on the expensive side. Like most others, they use a subscription model.

I've been using It for years and I've seen how much it's improved with every update. They've been keeping up with the competition and getting better and better. I've tried other apps but I always come back to NR. It's simple, doesn't feel overwhelming to use and it's really effective. NR is a huge part of my business and I couldn't do without it. I'm excited to see what new features they'll roll out next!

Cons

For my business, I need to add pauses in certain areas. Some of the older voices (none of the newer ones) have this strange high-pitched buzzing/static sound before and after they speak. It's not too loud but it's noticeable and pretty annoying. It's made those voices unusable for me. I really hope they can fix this in the future. Also manually entering numbered pauses is pain. A preset option would be great!

The quality isn't great in French Canada. There's only one style and it sounds robotic.

It was really user friendly and I didn't need to watch any tutorials to get started. The app adjusts well to what you need and it has saved me so much time on recording and editing. But what I love most is how realistic and friendly the voices sound and you can't even tell it's a computer!

I'd love it if they added more types of voices in different languages especially in Spanish.

It's very flexible and I love that it has so many voices in different languages. The way the paragraphs are separated really helps with making small pronunciation fixes and pauses.

I appreciate how easy it is to use and the fact that you can adjust the intonation in the text to make it sound more human. That's a great feature.

In Belgium, we can't use the program because we need Flemish. It's basically Dutch without the Dutch accent and culturally, the Flemish won't accept Dutch-accented content. Check out Flemish news like VTM news and you'll see what I mean.

Pros

This tool has been amazing for helping us get our content to people with visual impairments and it's great for anyone who just prefers to listen instead of reading our magazine articles.

Cons

The pronunciation editor is a bit confusing and doesn't work well when mixing languages. I use both English and Spanish and sometimes getting the pronunciation right is really tricky.
