“script-to-video standout”

Pros

The script-to-video tool and the article-to-video option are both really useful features and I've enjoyed using them.

Cons

One thing I still can't seem to do is choose the aspect ratio before creating a video. On top of that, once a video is made in one size, resizing it for another platform doesn't work very well. For example, if I create a YouTube video in 16,9 and then switch it to TikTok's 9,16 format, the images end up spilling past the borders. I'd also love to see Victory add a talking avatar feature and the platform could be a bit faster too.

Getting around the platform is easy and there's a huge collection of visuals available to work with.

Cons

Videos and images aren't tagged, so if I don't save or note the visuals I like, it can be hard to track them down again later.

It did a nice job of splitting my script into scenes and the layout was simple to work with.

Cons

The AI-picked clips for my script weren't very good but I was already planning to search for and choose all of them myself anyway.

“fantastic text-to-video creator”

Pros

The text-to-video generator is fantastic. Since editing isn't really my strong point, it handles that side of things for me as well. I'm able to create videos because the whole process is so simple to use. There are plenty of customization options now especially for backgrounds and text and new features seem to be getting added to the toolkit every month.

Cons

One thing that needs work is the processing speed especially when adding voiceovers, because it takes too long and should be optimized to run faster and better. It would also help to have an option to split a slide into multiple sections, or some kind of layout that allows different views or elements to be shown on a single slide. For the typewriter text setting, adding a typing sound effect would make it better. There should also be a text highlight option when using text that comes from external images or posters. On top of that, the video length in the basic plan should be increased to 15 minutes. It would also be useful to have separate pricing plans for users like me who can't fully use all the videos included in larger plans such as 20 or 30 videos.

Pros

With a script and a bit of time, you can put together a video in just a few minutes. Spend another hour or two refining it and you'll have a polished video ready to publish.

Cons

Since it runs in the browser, JavaScript still falls short when it comes to some finer UX details, such as scene splitting. That's less a flaw of the software itself and more a limitation of how far HTML and browser-based environments have been pushed.

Pros

The text-to-video feature has been incredibly fast and that's the tool I keep coming back to the most. I haven't tried the long-to-short video option yet but it's definitely something I need as well.

Cons

Editing audio or voiceovers could be better especially when I record my own narration outside the platform. After uploading it, trimming certain sections so they match the video scenes exactly is pretty difficult.

Pros

Even without any prior video-making experience, I've been able to create high-quality videos with this tool. I started as a complete beginner and still managed to produce more than 70 videos, ranging from 1 to 15 minutes, over the past 9 months. I absolutely love it. The videos come out looking polished and if I need to make changes, editing them is quick and easy.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints. It delivers exactly what it promises and using it is very easy.

Out of all the video creator apps I've tried, this one has been the simplest to use.

Nothing to complain about. Everything about it has been really good.

The finished videos come out looking very high quality. Having access to the Eleven Labs voice library and Getty Images really makes this platform tough to compete with.

The first draft of a video can sometimes miss the mark a bit with the visual choices, so it usually needs some editing. Even so, I've always ended up happy with the final visuals I selected.

Pros

Video quality is really impressive. With other tools, the chosen images often feel random or out of place but here the results are consistently spot-on.

Cons

Subtitle editing feels a little countersimple at first since you do not need to double-click, you just have to wait for the options to show up.

Pros

Getting videos online takes almost no time with this. There's a ton of free content available to use and even my 17-year-old son is now making our videos with it. The AI also picks a starting framework for you which makes the whole process incredibly fast.

Cons

It does make some slightly odd choices now and then but since my text is in Swedish, it still gets nearly everything right.

Pros

One thing I really enjoy is the text-to-voice narration because it sounds like a real person speaking. Every now and then I need to respell an unusual or highly technical term so it pronounces it correctly but it gets it right about 99% of the time.

Cons

This doesn't always generate the exact image I want to use, so I end up adding my own images instead.

Pros

Putting together quality videos doesn't take much effort with this software and the process is quick from start to finish. It's especially useful for creating videos using its large library of relevant b-roll, plus the script writing and narration tools make content production really convenient.

Cons

It isn't really the right choice if you need detailed editing for your own video footage. It works better as a tool for b-roll and AI narration when the goal is to create content fast.

It feels easy and there are plenty of different options for creating videos.

Cons

One frustrating part is that when I start a video with pictures, I can't really go back later and conveniently edit the text or add the "story" feature.

Video scene selection felt better and there were more ways to customize the video. After a short learning curve, it becomes very simple to use.

AI could still do a better job of choosing scenes that match the script more accurately.

Easy to use especially with how simple it is to import text for videos, add pictures and video clips, or even pull in a blog link to turn it into a video. I originally started using it as a replacement for another platform that let me down and it has turned into my go-to tool for creating stock videos for YouTube and social media.

Cons

Disappointing part is that the company did not follow through on what was promised to LTD buyers. When the LTD was sold, we were told that all premium Pro features and future upgrades would be included. Instead, I now have to pay monthly for two separate church plans that were supposed to be covered. I understand that upgrades can be costly but if future upgrades were never going to be included, that should not have been promised in the sales copy.

Using it feels very easy and it takes care of most of the hard work for me.

I still haven't figured out where its limitations are yet, although I'm sure they exist.

Don't have any complaints. I just wish I'd had more time to dig into the other features and it would be nice if there were a live class where questions could be asked.

Pros

Just paste in your script and the software automatically picks the video clips and background music for you. There's a huge library of high-quality music and video options available and everything is included in the program at a very affordable price.

Cons

One thing it still doesn't do is create talking head videos, meaning an AI-generated presenter that reads the script on screen. That's really the only feature I'd want to see added.
