“Perfect for recording and editing

Pros

I can record my mic, webcam and screen all at once and then I can edit everything in this software. It's really convenient for doing everything in one place.

Cons

It's not free and you can only use your license on one device at a time.

“Super handy software

Pros

This software is very simple to use and lets me edit my videos directly in it too. It's such a great tool for video production and I've been using it for all my projects.

Cons

It's only available for Mac and is paid but honestly, it's totally worth it because it's powerful.

“MacOS's go-to tool for screen recording

Pros

It has so many tools to record and edit videos right from your computer screen. I can show keyboard actions and highlight parts of the screen in different ways. The timeline allows me to hold several streams, add still images, separate audio files and use different effects. It's really versatile.

Cons

Some features are tricky to find. The price is higher than other screen recorders but the features and stability make it totally worth it.

“Excellent for making videos

It is so easy to use even for a newbie like me. But as I get more experienced, I've noticed it also has more advanced features and capabilities to explore.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything I need that It doesn't do. It's a great program for recording instructional videos.

“Top screen recording software out there

Pros

It's EXTREMELY easy to use but don't let that fool you and it's not weak in features. It's packed with everything you could possibly need. Most of the time, I use it to grab quick screen recordings that I can then integrate into bigger videos. It's perfect for that.

Cons

We don't really have any "negatives" with ScreenFlow. It does everything we need (and way more).

“Awesome app!

Pros

If you're looking for an app to help you record your screen for school projects, tutorials or just for fun, It's the perfect app for you! It's very easy to use and helps you create professional-looking videos. I love using It for all my screen recording needs because it's reliable and user-friendly.

Cons

The only downside is that you have to pay to upgrade to the new version. If you don't upgrade, you'll have to keep using the old version. And if you wait too long, the upgrade might cost more.

“Fantastic tool for video capturing

Pros

This tool is amazing. I can create videos for my work team, for example. I can capture the entire screen or just a portion of it. The recording quality is excellent and I can also export it to MP3. I love it!

Cons

The software is basic (but it works) and there are certain fonts for the recordings that you can't customize the way you'd like.

“Very easy to use

Pros

The screen capture is so simple to set up and then I can jump straight into editing. It also records high-quality audio at the same time, which is awesome. I haven't even explored all that ScreenFlow can do but even with just the basic features, I'm not feeling overwhelmed by all the options. The output has been super professional, clear and clean. I'm really happy with the results.

Cons

There's not much to complain about. I haven't run into any major issues. The only thing is my personal habit of recording my 5K iMac screen at full resolution for cool zoom-ins and zoom-outs which results in huge files. While not a huge problem, it fills up my cloud storage, so I have to back up the original screencaptures locally and to an external hard drive. But again this is more of my issue than ScreenFlow's!
