An all-in-one solution

Pros

It is fairly easy to use with no confusion and it adds some high quality upgrades to our audio tracks that really stand out.

Cons

Since I already have a bunch of other audio editing apps in my toolbox, this one does not really add much for me personally. It kind of feels unnecessary in my current setup.

Great pick for recording audio

Pros

What I love most about SOUND FORGE is how simple yet powerful it is. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced pro, the mixing and mastering tools are more than capable.

Cons

Every now and then the program crashes while I am in the middle of working. So I feel like it would be great if the stability could be improved a bit to avoid those unexpected interruptions.

get professional sound edits with this

Pros

When it comes to audio editing Sound Forge is at the top. The range of effects that come with it help us produce a very professional sound and it is perfect for cleaning up or restoring older audio clips too.

Cons

This software is more focused on mastering and audio processing than full mixing. To mix tracks we have to manually stack and adjust them making the process more hands-on compared to other tools.

Awesome combo for audio recording and edits

Pros

Audio editing with Sound Forge is honestly amazing. The plugins especially the ones for bass, treble and reverb are super impressive. Plus recording works really well too whether it is stereo or mono. And for anyone who is serious about sound quality, I totally recommend it for both recording and editing.

Cons

It is a solid piece of software but I feel like the way the features are laid out and presented could be improved. Also it is not the most beginner-friendly tool but for experienced users, it definitely offers pro-level performance.

Simple to use

Pros

Using Sound Forge is as simple as I did not face any sort of trouble so even if it is your first time trying audio software. It is packed with powerful tools but still simple enough for beginners to figure out without any hassle.

Cons

There is nothing major to complain about right now but I do think a few features could use some fine tuning or a slight redesign to make the overall experience better.

Our go-to tool

Pros

This software is packed with so many useful features and the interface feels pretty friendly and easy to navigate. Plus you can really do some awesome stuff with it. Overall I absolutely love using it.

Cons

I have not really felt like anything's missing from this software but I would love the option to work across multiple windows. Right now when everything minimizes, it is tough to see the full editing layout all at once.

A budget-friendly tool

Pros

Sound Forge has stayed one of the best audio tools in my kit. The newer versions even let you work with video tracks now and considering it's priced under $50, it's a total steal for what it offers.

Cons

The only problem I run into is totally on me like I have got around 2,000 audio plugins installed. Every time the software starts it has to scan them all which takes forever. I have tried moving the important ones into a separate folder to cut down the wait but I really wish audio programs let us pick which plugins to load at launch. Unfortunately none of them offer that option.
