Pros

What I love most about StoryKit is how you can jump in and start creating without needing much prior experience. And as long as your script is ready, you just break it down into slides, then bring it to life by adding visuals, videos, styled text and personal touches to make it look polished. Also you can control the timing, sync your text with each slide and fine-tune everything to fit your own preferences.

Cons

The typical process starts with adding content to your slides and then customizing everything based on your desired video length. It can take a little time to get used to all the features especially if you are new. But once you are more familiar with the tools, your videos look much more polished. For beginners I would say it is really helpful to go through the guides and check out examples to make sure your content lands right and has the impact you want.

Storykit is quite beginner-friendly and easy to use. Like we do not need to invest much time or effort to create a polished, professional looking video.

Cons

I wish the preview process did not take so long to generate. Also it would be useful if the music library had a way to sort tracks by genre as that would save a lot of time on scrolling.

We have been producing a lot of videos lately because Storykit is pretty easy to use. Also it has really helped streamline our workflow.

So far we have not really seen much engagement or noticeable impact when sharing our videos on social platforms.

What saves me the most time is the huge selection of text-based slides as all this makes way faster than manually animating text like in Adobe Premiere Pro. Also there is a large music library though it takes a little searching to find and download the free tracks. Another bonus is that it generates previews and final videos in the cloud so my computer does not slow down during exports.

The music library could really use a better system for organizing tracks. There is a large selection available but without categories or filters, I find it a bit overwhelming to find the right one.

I am not a pro video editor but with this tool, I have been able to create professional looking content for several clients and that is a huge win for me.

Well I really like how simple the platform is plus their support team is quick to respond and pretty helpful whenever I have needed something.

There is a huge variety of slides to pick from which is great but it does take some time to get familiar with all of them. So it would be helpful if we could preview how a slide behaves directly inside the video studio without always needing to generate a full preview. That said the preview speed has definitely improved since earlier versions.

It is very easy to use and they have got a great selection of stock images and ready made templates. Plus customer service is the best and I like that they are always rolling out new features.

Cons

With more companies jumping on board and using it the content can start to feel a little less unique. But the dev team seems to be on it as they are always releasing new templates. As a user we just have to be open to experimenting with fresh designs to keep your content creative and original.

With Storykit even those who have zero experience in video production can jump in and start creating right away as there is no learning needed.

Cons

Some templates feel a bit limiting to me at times. So it would be helpful if they showed a recommended character count but also gave more flexibility to write extra text when needed.

It is so easy to use and really helps us put together high quality, professional looking videos without making much of an effort.

We really do not have anything negative to say. It just takes a bit of time to fully explore what the platform offers and understand how to make the most of all its features.
