“Does everything I need in a DAW
Pros
Coming from a Cubase background switching to Studio One was smooth and easy. The workflow is fast and everything just clicked for me right away as it felt natural to me from the start.
Cons
I am really not a big fan of the new subscription based plans they have introduced. Personally I would rather just pay once and own the software outright instead of paying month after month.

“Powerful and professional software
Pros
The software updates are actually influenced by what users ask for which I really appreciate. And the way it helps you stay organized is pretty great and it keeps getting more powerful. Plus being able to build custom macros has been a huge time saver.
Cons
It is a bit frustrating that I cannot run a full plugin scan while I am working inside a session. As I have to manually enable it, restart the program and then possibly turn it off again. And all this is kind of a hassle.

“Reliable tool
Pros
I am always impressed by how often they roll out updates and new features. Every release feels like a step up and they keep pushing the quality even higher.
Cons
The lyrics tool still feels unfinished to me and it definitely needs more development to be fully useful.

“Had a nice experience
Pros
Well I got this with my AudioBox and before long I was recording tracks with my friends. What really impressed me was how stable the software is and how easy it was to start creating right away.
Cons
Compared to FL Studio I am not able to build drum or instrument patterns the same way. As it just was not really designed for that kind of beat creation workflow.

“Nice tool
Pros
The way it works together with other Presonus gear is excellent as everything connects so well and it makes the whole setup feel pretty reliable to me.
Cons
It overlaps with other tools that already exist so in some ways it feels to me like it's offering features that are already out there in other software.

“Works well no matter your music style
Pros
Studio One has a pretty user friendly layout, powerful MIDI editing tools and it works perfectly with my hardware setup. Overall it really makes producing and recording feel a simple task.
Cons
I honestly do not have a single complaint as everything about it is top notch and works perfectly for me.

“5 out of 5
Pros
What stands out for me is the mixing and arrangement as it really helps shape the music the way I want it to sound.
Cons
Finding the official website should not be this hard as it took me longer than I expected just to track it down.
