Totally loved this tool

Pros

I really like this dual-purpose tool as it is very useful and user friendly at the same time.

Cons

The search filter at time work really slow depending on how much information needs to be searched.

Scalable Omnichannel Product Management Tool

Pros

Managing information for a very large number of products across different platforms is really easy for us with this product information management system which makes it essential for omnichannel commerce. The support team is excellent as well.

Cons

Interface design could still look a bit more polished.

All in One PIM Solution

Pros

From what we saw, this felt like a pretty complete all-in-one platform for us, even though we mainly tested it for its capabilities. We didn't choose it in the end but I still think it's a strong solution overall.

Cons

Our focus stayed mostly on the PIM side since the DAM organization features didn't leave us particularly impressed. Even the PIM worked only to a point, because with the size of our datasets, managing everything would have been challenging. On top of that, we would have had limited control and would need to reach out to their team for every update or change.

Efficient Product Data Editing

Pros

Updating our product information has become much better since we started using this. Finding, adding and editing details is far more efficient for us now. The platform feels modern and smart, especially when it comes to entering information quickly. Another big plus is how well it connects and communicates with the other systems we already use.

Cons

The only part that takes a bit of time to understand is the search query setup.

Flexible Relationship Based Architecture

Pros

The system is very flexible for us, so you can fit almost any assortment into it. Since it is relationship-based, you can connect practically anything with anything else. Implementing it feels simple and easy to me, with a real what-you-see-is-what-you-get approach. Product Management also makes changes quickly and maintaining products is simple and convenient.

Cons

One thing that's missing is a clear overview of the assortment and how everything is connected. You can't really see the structure visually and instead have to figure it out by clicking around. Scoping inside the system is also not very easy. We work with multiple companies under one license and at the moment there is no way to segment products by division which means every company can see all products. The new content segmentation feature is supposed to fix this but we have been waiting months for it. Another frustrating issue is that Fieldsets are not read-only, so if someone edits a Fieldset, data can be lost unintentionally. It is also disappointing that there is no shared roadmap timeline, so it is mostly guesswork trying to figure out what will be released and when.

Custom Field Driven Catalog System

Pros

This software has been the biggest advantage for us. We created field sets that fit our catalog perfectly which made everything much easier to organize. Since then, we've been able to keep adding more and more product information without much trouble.

Cons

The part I like least is not having enough control over the system within our own organization. When we need changes made, we have to go through a partner instead of handling them ourselves.

Integrated Media Product Management

Pros

Being able to save photos and attach documents directly to our products has been really useful for us.

Cons

Adding a few extra apps does increase the cost a little.

handy access from anywhere

Pros

Since it's cloud-based, it lets me access it anytime and from practically anywhere which is really convenient for me.

Cons

Handling very large datasets can get a bit challenging and isn't always the most efficient to manage.

4.0

powerful product data hub

Pros

Having everything in one place makes it a really strong tool for us for managing all the product data needed to bring products to market. It's fairly simple to work with and we can customize it to fit the needs of our business.

Cons

Getting a great grasp of all the functionality takes time because the learning curve is pretty steep. The inability to customize layouts can also be limiting. On top of that, there isn't really a strong option for external users of the system and the UI feels less user-friendly than some competing products on the market.

fast processes and deep customization

Pros

Everything on the internal side runs very quickly for us and the platform offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to customization.

Cons

At the beginning, it was hard for our in-house developers to get access to the code base and the documentation. That part has gotten better with the new support portal. Another limitation is that there still aren't any outbound connectors included out of the box, not even basic ones with limited functionality and there are no ready-made templates for common use cases either.

great content hub but clunky print tools

Pros

Having everything in one place is a big plus for us. We rely on it for all of our text content and even use it as a kind of pseudo DAM and it does a really good job of bringing resources together and helping us keep track of them.

Cons

Print module feels very tough and I really wish there were more options to control the Work Area column in Enrich.

spreadsheet-friendly and flexible

Pros

Coming from a team that works heavily in spreadsheets, being able to export product and item data, make updates directly in the sheet and then upload it back into the PIM is incredibly convenient for us. On the technical side, as the business changes and new key information needs to be tracked, adding extra data fields and putting them to use is very easy for me.

Cons

That's honestly a hard one to answer, I'll have to get back to you if I ever think of a downside!

modern design that stands out

Pros

Compared with the other platforms we evaluated, this one had a much more sleek and modern look and feel for us.

Cons

A downside is the level of skill needed to handle certain functions. It is not something an average day-to-day user can just open and start using right away. People usually need specialized training and often more than one session, before they really understand how everything works.
