A nightmare experience

Pros

Well in the beginning Shipwire looked promising with all its features but in the end it felt to me more like just a platform. Their focus seems to be on the tech itself, not on actually handling orders or providing solid support.

Cons

Their support is outsourced and the agents clearly are not well trained. Replies are slow and usually just copy-paste responses. Our shipping experience was a nightmare as wrong stock levels, lost parcels and a lot of mistakes with work orders. After using them for two years, we finally left and it was the best move we made. As it seems more focused on flashy features and a modern interface than actually doing the most important thing that is dispatching orders properly and offering decent service.

Simply poor

Pros

Honestly nothing about this company or the software worked for us. Everything was terrible and getting any fix from their dev team took forever like weeks and weeks.

Cons

It could not even calculate stock accurately which made things really difficult on our end.

Waste of money and time

Pros

There is really nothing good I can say about it. The system is slow, clunky and way too expensive. On top of that there are hidden charges and customer service is just awful.

Cons

I do not usually leave bad reviews as a business owner because I understand what goes into running a company but I have to warn people. Shipwire's mismanagement almost broke our business. Their customer service was simply the worst. They dropped an entire pallet of goods and did not tell us. Hundreds of units went missing and only showed up six months after we'd moved our stock out. plus they charge a lot, sneak in hidden fees and cannot even handle basic instructions or work orders.

Save yourself and look for another company

Pros

It is quite good that we can upload orders and if we are using a third-party connector, we can even automate e-commerce fulfillment. Plus the system works okay for small orders like one or two items per customer.

Cons

If you are thinking of moving all your inventory or have large orders to fulfill I would say do not count on them. Their system is broken and customer service is average at best. Our products felt stuck in a mess we could not fix.

Avoid it at any cost

Pros

Well as per my experience I would say there is not anything good about this software.

Cons

They lost our stock. Their support team is also very bad. Honestly they just cannot handle the core logistics work. So save yourself the trouble and don't trust them.

User-friendly but customer support could improve

Pros

I found the tool really simple and easy to use. And updating or changing orders is also simple. Overall it is a well designed system.

Cons

The customer support is not great. As even when we do reach someone, getting an actual solution is a whole other challenge.

Prepare to lose your product

Pros

The interface is clean and pretty user friendly but I would not recommend actually using them because that is pretty much the only good thing they have got going for them.

Cons

Well the software itself is okay but the people behind it are not so much. We had inventory go missing and they acted like it was not a big deal. Also they said we had stock we did not which caused serious problems. Their support is based overseas and it can take months to get anything resolved or if it even gets resolved at all.

It is a scam

Pros

To be honest the only thing that caught my attention was the blue background and the name as it is catchy So I will give them that.

Cons

The biggest problem I noticed is the people running the place. Their system does not sync properly with the warehouse and nothing lines up the way it should.

Completely useless company

Pros

In the beginning we liked that it connected with Shopify as that part seemed useful at first.

Cons

I do not even know where to begin as there are just too many problems. The only thing they are good at is getting you signed up. Once your products are in the support falls apart and you are stuck.

Horrible in every aspect

Pros

When it actually works it is fine. Also the automatic shipping rate calculation and having international warehouse options are the main reasons we still stick with it.

Cons

It fails often. And when it does just do not expect any decent support to help you fix it. So I would say it is better to avoid it.

The good and bad sides of it

Pros

Using Shipwire for fulfillment barely requires any hands on work. It syncs up with popular marketplaces, sends orders to the right warehouse and usually ships them within 48 hours. Also restocking and scaling to more locations is pretty easy. Shipsurance was a great add-on too as it made claims for lost packages way smoother and saved us time and money.

Cons

Working with Shipwire was frustrating. Once an order was sent to the warehouse canceling it was nearly impossible. If they messed up, they rarely owned it. During peak seasons we'd wait 2 to 3 weeks for special projects which is just unmanageable for a small business.

Poor service led us to switch fulfillment centers

Pros

The system was pretty easy to use and worked well overall. It synced nicely with Shopify and I could create orders, manage tracking, handle international shipping and keep tabs on inventory without much trouble.

Cons

As a small business we had a terrible experience. During the holidays two years in a row they took forever to count in our inventory and shipping delays were just as bad. Some orders never even got sent. And we had no control or way to push them to do better and the whole thing was a mess.

Better if you do not consider it

Pros

Honestly I cannot find a single good thing to say about Shipwire. We had our inventory with them for a whole year and relied on them for shipping but we were basically just waiting for the moment we could leave but it was not easy at all too.

Cons

Where do I even start? Their customer service is practically non-existent. Our packages were mishandled or shipped incorrectly all the time. They do not even run their own warehouses. Plus fixing anything was next to impossible. Even making simple order changes was a struggle. So take my advice and better stay away from it.
