“Customer Support lacking - They let customers refund used servies

It was a nice advantage for my clients
Cons
billing in the beginning. Customer service is weak, even for important information or an urgent need. Others had warned me about the refund process and it wasn't until I had a customer just pretend they didnt use our services and got a refund through their bank with no issues! split it washes their hands of it and pulls the money right out of your account. Unreal. Not using anymore.

eh, there are other options to split payments into installments like affirm and klarna, they are way less shady than this
Cons
It is not really a payment plan. They put a hold on your card for the entire amount, release the first installment, but keep the hold. Then 18 days later they add another hold for the full amount less one payment, and etc. So essentially you are paying in full -- but actually worse because you cannot use your card for anything if it is up against a limit. The hold can even put your card over the limit. Service sucks and just repeats the same thing and blames it on your bank. And the reason they do this is to buy time for the hold to disappear as a transaction so then you have a harder time disputing it.. (the hold transaction will disappear after 7 days but will still be in the background taking up the full amount on your card limit) This is basically a scam. If you need the thing youre better off paying in full or using something like klarna or affirm or even a random dude down the street

“Misleading service so be careful

At first the payment plan looks simple. In reality it is not as it feels to me a total scam.
Cons
Warning: never give them your credit card. It places a full authorization hold on your card every 18 days which made my card appear maxed out even though the actual charges were only for the payments. For example I used it to pay a $6,500 tuition with $1,500 upfront and $711 monthly installments. They authorized the $1,500 then $4,500 for the rest plus $711 for a payment maxing out my $10,000 limit on just one $711 payment. Plus I realized this only when my card got declined at a restaurant. After a couple of weeks they re-authorized $4,500 but did not charge it, then authorized $711 but that payment got flagged as fraud by the card company. Then Splitit charged the full $4,500 all at once. They took their financing fee but never actually financed anything. My credit card company even labeled them a high risk merchant with many fraud reports. So I don't trust Splitit and I blame Simplilearn too for involving me with them.

Pros
Offering 0% on deferred payments is definitely a strong point and I cannot really argue against that main benefit.
Cons
It immediately puts a credit hold for the full purchase amount then reduces it monthly. But the new hold is applied before the old one is released so customers need almost double the credit line like full amount plus full amount minus one payment. This can cause defaults even if the customer has enough credit for the next payment because the holds overlap. Also it is confusing and almost seems to me like it is designed to trigger payment failures.

“really bad experience
Pros
Customer service was awful and the installment plan didn't work out for me. Plus I keep wondering why I did not just use my credit card instead. Bad decision as it is a wrong site.
Cons
Zero stars as they insist on charging me before the due dates which I hate. If due dates exist, why charge early? Plus terrible customer service and payment system. I will think twice next time.

“The best!
Pros
I have always liked their excellent service and Splitit delivered on that with our complex setup. But beyond that it is just a powerful payment option letting customers pay over time easily, without credit checks or crazy fees. Happy shoppers mean happy sellers and that's me. It is a win win all around.
Cons
A few months ago I would have said the Splitit Magento 2 extension was unusable as we had to build our own integration. But now they have completely overhauled it after listening to customer feedback and it works great for us. So right now I have nothing bad to say.

“Couldn't ask for a better payment tool
Pros
The option to offer 0% financing with zero fees for customers and low fees for merchants is simply amazing. Also setup and the dashboard are user-friendly. Plus I like the fact that it integrates well with Shopify and other eCommerce platforms.
Cons

Cons
About half our clients are international and sometimes foreign banks reject it or flag it as potential fraud.

When searching for a way to smooth out cash flow for BodyJewelry.com I found Splitit's installment solution which is amazing. We can now hold shoppers credit cards for the full amount, so payments never get delayed which helps us manage cash flow better. Plus it is the easiest way to grow revenue. Since adding Splitit my business NASHA has seen huge growth in sales and average order value. The integration was also simple and the customer service was quite helpful too. Pros
What I find most helpful about Splitit is how simple it is to use for both customers and merchants. The interface is really simple as it removes all the hassle. Also customers don't have to worry about credit checks and it is interest-free so their credit score is not affected. From the business side I get all the info I need with just a few clicks.
Cons
Honestly there are not many sites where I'd really want to use this. Also the design looks a bit rough like it's still in early prototype mode but that does not affect how well it works. I'd also love if the reports could be exported in different file formats.
