The only thing I could mention is the weekly invoicing. It becomes time-consuming from a process standpoint and I would prefer monthly invoicing. I understand their reasoning and it does make tracking project time easier compared to their proposed hours.

One of the things I love about One Six is their flexibility in working with us. Early in the project, we realized we needed a tactical resource instead of an advisory one and they quickly swapped resources for us to ensure we had everything we needed. The team we worked with was personable, skilled and integrated seamlessly with ours. Their support was invaluable, especially since this project was something new for us.

I can't think of anything I have been unhappy with. Unfortunately, we couldn't give them more access to our LMS code due to their lack of training in the languages we use and our company is protective of this code. However, One Six was willing to learn and help out but we opted not to take them up on it due to the fast-paced project and other areas where we could use their skillsets.

I've worked with One Six at two companies. One helped us set up a data warehouse and all the related ETL processes and the other helped us set up reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide visual analytics for our nationwide sales and operations teams.

What I really appreciate about working with them is the partnership they have shown in tackling our real issues. Instead of just following instructions, they dive deep to understand the problem, help us think through it, offer the best technical solutions and then execute quickly, keeping me involved every step of the way. This approach has been invaluable in ensuring our success and I feel confident in knowing exactly what's being done and how to maintain it once they're done.

This tool managed a complex data project using a U.S. government feed. They built an internal database, set up Power BI, integrated APIs with HubSpot and later rebuilt everything when we switched to Salesforce. They solved data issues to deliver a cleaner product with fewer duplication issues and recommended improvements that ultimately boosted our sales team's results.

Cons

They get it. Communication is excellent and their team is knowledgeable. They're easy to access and present projects in simple terms, making complex technical details easier to understand for those not typically working on data projects.

Their representative was great at asking questions to understand the "why." He had the expertise to figure out the "how," but he went above and beyond to understand the business decisions I needed to make based on the data. He also took the initiative to ensure the final product looked great.

There's no downside to One Six Solutions, just the usual challenge with contractors. Once contractors leave, so does the institutional knowledge they have built with the project.

The talent at One Six is top-tier! some of the best data professionals in Chicago. There's no disconnect between the sales process and solution delivery. They are honest and focus on solutions that truly drive business value. Working with them is refreshing compared to dealing with large consulting firms. They are my go-to for data tech solutions.

Cons

I cannot think of any negatives, other than the fact that they didn't have more available resources to help. As they grow, I am sure they will expand their capacity.

They helped us effectively map out a plan to create our data warehouse and connect systems that didn't communicate with each other. They helped us find the perfect data reporting solution in QlikSense to meet our needs. Mike and the One Six team are always responsive and supportive of our needs.

Cons

The integration structure is quite complex and needs One Six's support to maintain. This is mainly because we were selective in the data fields initially identified for the data warehouse. Over time, we have needed to add more fields, which has created issues with existing QlikSense reports.
