Strong relationship-building skills

Pros

The solution specialists at Simplus really know their stuff. They have years of experience and are considered leaders in the Q2C and CLM industries. What I really appreciate is their clear, consistent communication and they make sure everyone is on the same page, which means there are no surprises. They're great at understanding exactly what I need and they bring a combination of industry know-how and familiarity with available tools to create the best solution for me.

Cons

I really can't say there was anything I didn't enjoy about this trip. It has made a huge impact on our company, transforming our operations and helping us grow much faster. They're very clear about the scope of work they take on, and while I understand that not all clients may fit their ideal profile (in terms of company size or service agreements), I truly believe they could gain even more influence in the industry if they branch out into different markets.

Decreased our productivity

Pros

I really like that it lets us make changes to contracts that are already activated. This is a big help for our accounting and order processing teams. I can't say how it compares to other solutions but it works well for us.

Cons

Things always feel slower when we're using Salesforce. Our pricing and quotes end up being inaccurate and we constantly need approvals or help from upper management or other departments to move things forward.

Simplified CPQ process

Pros

I find it super easy to create quotes with this tool and it speeds up the entire process of closing deals.

Cons

Data updates could be an issue sometimes. But to be fair, I think this could be more of a result of Salesforce being slow to load rather than an issue with the tool itself.

True industry leader

Pros

Simplus was actually the first to partner with SteelBrick, which later became Salesforce CPQ. We've been working with them since the early days and they're still a big part of shaping the quote-to-cash process today.

Cons

One thing that stood out was how long it took to hear back from customer support. It wasn't always quick and that was a bit frustrating at times.

High-quality tech work

Pros

The Simplus team is extremely experienced. They've been through this process countless times and they give great advice on industry best practices, plus things you might not find in a blog or hear at a conference. They help me avoid mistakes and ensure that I'm not making decisions that could be hard to maintain down the line. Grant, Michelle, Bridget and the rest of the team are amazing, they keep us informed with weekly updates and we're always able to share those updates with our teams. They also do a great job of testing and providing solid proof to show that all requirements are met.

Cons

There was one time when our favorite developer wasn't available to help with a quick project but honestly, it wasn't a huge deal. It's pretty rare anyway.

Amazing team with strong collaboration

Pros

It has been a game-changer for us. They've helped us make the necessary changes and enhancements to our Salesforce setup, especially since we don't have the in-house expertise to do it ourselves. Their help has been crucial as our company continues to grow quickly.

Cons

Since we share teams with other clients, there can occasionally be slight delays in response time and resolution for certain projects or issues.

All in one solution

Pros

The roll-out was smooth and the quoting process is now much better. Plus, the documentation library and additional resources that came later in the process have been really helpful.

Cons

Some of the features and documentation were a bit basic. It would have been nice to have more detailed resources at times.

Amazing product

Pros

The best thing about Simplus is the wealth of knowledge they bring with them. Our processes are pretty complex and were built by a couple of other companies before Simplus came on board. They quickly understood everything and helped us turn things around fast whenever we faced issues.

Cons

The only downside for me is that we don't get to keep the same support staff we had when we first started with Simplus. That was a bit disappointing.

Great team

Pros

Simplus has a team of true professionals who worked with us to define objectives, use cases and testing that we couldn't get done in-house. And they absolutely delivered on everything they promised us!

Cons

Excellent at managing customers

Pros

The team at Simplus includes some fantastic individuals, like Cory Griffin, Kazi Hanif and Tim Smith. They have excellent customer relationship skills and are always willing to take on even the toughest, out-of-the-box challenges.

Cons

All in all, the project was managed successfully from start to finish. Everything went smoothly and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
