Highly customizable platform

Pros

Using the scheduling tools has been a real plus and the ability to customize services to match the specific needs of our business makes the platform even more valuable.

Cons

Something that would make it better is having reports update in real time. Waiting up to two hours for a report to become accurate can be frustrating.

Flexible scheduling and reporting

Pros

Right away, the scheduling tools in AlayaCare have been one of the best parts for me. I also really appreciate how much we can customize the reports so they match our changing needs which has been extremely helpful for our team.

Cons

One improvement that would make a big difference is real-time report updates. Having to wait for reports to refresh can slow things down when immediate updates are needed.

Everything at your fingertips

Pros

Everything I need is right there at my fingertips especially when it comes to managing nurses' hours. It's also really helpful being able to see missed visits in one place.

Cons

The visit verification glitches feel more complicated than they should be. Confirming visits that employees scheduled themselves also ends up being overly complicated.

responsive support team

Pros

Using it has been a very positive experience because the platform is simple to manage. Client and patient management is detailed and comprehensive. Scheduling feels simple to handle. One of the biggest highlights is the customer support, our account manager has been excellent and always responds quickly.

Cons

The biggest difficulty has been with Data Exploration and the reporting features which can be quite challenging to work with. That said AlayaCare has acknowledged this issue and has made noticeable improvements over the past two years.

amazing recent upgrades

Pros

Recent updates have noticeably improved the functionality and Data Exploration 2.0 makes reporting much more user friendly. I'm also really excited about Layla, the new AI feature.

Cons

Getting help through Zendesk has been frustrating. We've had multiple tickets stay open for a long time without any feedback or follow-up. I also wish there were a simpler way to track overtime and to accurately view a client's first and last dates of service.

Pros

It offers a lot of valuable features. We handle so many of our day-to-day tasks in it and it really helps keep our organization running well.

Cons

It's also very complex which can make it confusing at times. And when something goes wrong even a very small issue can end up disrupting a lot of workflows.

Pros

Handling daily tasks feels much more easy with it, whether I'm verifying visits or making sure payroll is accurate. The real-time updates and clear client activity tracking help me stay on top of things and make decisions quickly and confidently.

Cons

The setup for custom forms is a little more involved than I expected. To fill out more complex documentation templates properly, it really takes a well-organized package to get everything configured the right way.

Pros

Being a cloud-based platform is a big plus. The customer service has been great and having access to articles and videos has been extremely helpful.

Cons

Submitting a ticket is simple and the initial response comes very quickly but the actual resolution can sometimes take longer than expected.

Pros

Accurate DE reports and flexible scheduling have been a big advantage. The client profile lets us capture all the important information and pass it along to employees clearly. It also makes work transitions smooth for field staff.

Efficient platform

Pros

It keeps things efficient and well organized especially now that everything is broken into clear sections. It's user-friendly and brings all patient information together in one place which makes it much easier to manage.

Cons

At times nurses run into app glitches while completing their forms and the note doesn't always show up in the failed uploads section for recovery. When that happens, they end up having to redo the work.

Needs more consistency

Pros

This tool seems to be heading in the right direction and has the potential to become a really strong overall program. It's promising but there's still more work needed before it gets there.

Cons

The biggest issue is the inconsistency across different pages. Some filters add +1 to dates while others don't. In some places time is shown as 1.5 hrs and elsewhere it appears as 1:30. That lack of consistency makes the system feel uneven. There are also parts of the development logic on otherwise simple pages that just don't seem to make much sense while using it.

Pros

Getting around it is very simple and the system is easy to handle.

Cons

Every now and then the platform has some strange one-off glitches that don't seem to have any clear cause. For example, there are random password change issues or getting signed out shortly after logging in sometimes within about ten minutes.

Ease of scheduling

Pros

Scheduling has been very simple and the Family Portal and Circle of Care features add a lot of value. The updated clock-in and clock-out tools work much better now and care team documentation has also noticeably improved.

Cons

Many of the most useful features come with additional add-on costs.

appreciate the Patient Risk Dashboard

Pros

The Notable feature and the Patient Risk Dashboard are the parts of AlayaCare I value most. They really strengthen how client care is managed and help support better outcomes overall.

Cons

The Connector side has been fairly challenging to learn and manage and I'd really appreciate having more support articles that explain how to use the platform.
