User-friendly software

Pros

It is quite user-friendly. Getting people up to speed has taken much less time and the scheduling team is making fewer mistakes than before. It's also been really helpful that Case Managers can make updates to the care plan themselves.

Cons

The implementation needed a lot of support along the way. Bringing the key stakeholders in right from the beginning makes a big difference and helps the process go much better.

Pros

It stands out for keeping the focus on better outcomes, not just by offering strong tools like real-time data and mobile capabilities but also by building a culture centered on collaboration, ongoing learning and real purpose.

Cons

Regular updates and system improvements definitely matter but at times they introduce unexpected glitches or disrupt functionality. When that happens, it can cause short-term challenges for both staff and clients especially if critical workflows are affected.

Scheduling and staffing made simple

Pros

Scheduling is very simple and it makes it easy to see everything needed for clients as well as the staff required for services and hiring.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints. It works well and is very user-friendly for our office staff when they're entering client and staff information.

Better mobile experience and fewer glitches

Pros

Compared with its predecessor, AlayaCare has fewer glitches and feels much more stable overall. The mobile experience is noticeably better for users and DE 2.0 is fantastic when it comes to customization.

Cons

Support tickets can take too long to get addressed and fixes or responses to reported issues and product suggestions are slower than they should be. Product updates also still occasionally cause some degradation.

friendly app for frontline staff

Pros

The platform has been user friendly and the app has worked well for my frontline staff. They run into fewer problems with it than they did when we were using Procura.

Cons

I honestly do not have many complaints. There are just a few small issues, like the client search not always working properly. Sometimes it will not find a client by last name alone even though other times it does.

Wonderful AI tools

Pros

It's AI tools especially Alayaflow and Layla, are really helpful. They improve efficiency for SPOs, increase data accuracy and cut down on a lot of manual work.

Cons

Data Exploration only refreshes every 2 hours between 7am and 5pm. It would be much better if end users could capture and view data in real time.

Pros

Getting started with it was quick and the system is simple to use. The mobile clock-in feature works well, with both automatic and manual approval options and the platform offers detailed data and reporting overall.

Cons

There are still some usability issues in the mobile app. Building reports in the data exploration area could also be more intuitive and simpler to create.

AI helps with documentation

Pros

The app is easy to use and it feels highly accessible for staff. The AI support is also a really smart addition especially because it helps reduce the documentation workload for healthcare staff.

Cons

Nothing negative comes to mind. The overall experience has been amazing and creating care plans is very simple. I'd definitely love to see even more AI assistance included in documentation.

Pros

Periodic billing within the accounting group has been really helpful. It provides a smooth experience for handling financial management on the accounting side.

Cons

The billing and invoicing side could still be improved especially the client pay feature since it doesn't provide periodic payment statements.

Looking forward to it

Pros

From the demo and training sessions, the system appears simple to handle, user-friendly and likely to improve efficiency for our providers and caregivers.

Cons

We're still in the implementation phase so we'll have a better sense of it after the full rollout. It's scheduled to go live in January 2026.

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how it keeps evolving and staying on top of the changing needs of the industry. It feels like the platform is continually improving instead of staying static.

Cons

I honestly do not have any real complaints. Whenever questions come up, our AlayaCare assistant is incredibly helpful and, if she does not have the answer right away, she makes sure we get one.

Pros

It feels very user friendly and simple to get the hang of. It didn't take long to learn and it's been easy to keep improving and make better use of the system over time.

Cons

At times entering data or completing forms feels redundant. Some information has to be entered in multiple places or fields and those sections do not always sync with each other.

Getting schedules organized feels very simple. The platform is userfriendly especially when creating schedules, checking client profiles and keeping tasks coordinated across the team.

Cons

Notes don't support images directly and only allow attachments. There are also times when the app feels unstable, with crashes or issues coming up when it's used offline.

Pros

The platform cuts down on manual paperwork and duplicated work and it helps simplify back-office tasks such as billing, payroll and documentation.

Cons

The biggest highlight has been the level of care we get from our reps. The apps are excellent and the overall support they provide has been fantastic. It really feels like it's transforming the healthcare industry.

Cons

improves the system

Pros

It's not often you come across a platform that handles both RCM and EVV well while also keeping things practical for caregivers. It does a really good job of improving the system over time and paying attention to customer feedback.

Cons

A few parts of the visit verification process can feel a bit tedious but those extra steps do help reduce risk. Overall it has still been a very enjoyable system to use.

Pros

This tool comes with a wide range of features and we've only started tapping into what it can do. The caregiver app and portal have really improved how information moves through our organization and helped make daily operations much more efficient.

Cons

The support resources, process documentation and training materials still need better organization and updating so the most current information is always available.

Alayaconnector boosts productivity

Pros

Alayaconnector and Data Exploration have made a real difference in how productive we are and how much visibility we have into our care operations. Alayaconnector helps us organize workflows and it makes tasks much more manageable for our office staff.

Cons

One frustration has been how long it takes for features or requested improvements to be implemented. New features also do not always work properly right out of the box. We have run into issues with rollouts being hard to test in staging/UAT and in some cases, parts of those features have still been broken once they reached the live environment.

excited for the new AI features

Pros

The educational content was really worthwhile and I'm especially looking forward to the upcoming AI features, the monthly calendar and the tri-cycle releases.

Cons

The seating was a bit uncomfortable. Theater-style seating would be a better setup since it would help keep the view from being blocked.
