“Chartpath is a huge help!”
Pros
It is incredibly easy for nurse practitioners to use. The documentation is clear and includes everything you need like CC, HPI, Medical Problems, Allergies, Medications, FH, SH and an assessment and plan section. You can add or resolve problems with just a click, keeping the data up to date. The option to pull forward information that doesn't change really helps save time. I also love how transparent Chartpath is..it lets providers see their daily numbers and track RVUs as soon as they're billed. It's super easy to share on Zoom, which makes charting with new providers a breeze. Our guru customizes the program for us and the small team is always quick to offer help. Honestly, this is the best charting software I've ever used and I highly recommend it.
Cons
Of course, the new CMS rules came out in January and the use of a prolonged service code is now an option. We are trying to get a box to check that will open a text box so the provider can validate why the prolonged service code is valid and what was done that required extra time. I don't like that I cannot see a person's schedule all at once (like a calendar) so I can immedicately tell how many days they worked in a month, or what days they took off without looking at each persons notes per day report and counting each day. Having a calendar option to see immediately everyones schedule and days worked would lessen my burden.

“Ideal solution with excellent support”
Pros
Clinicians love this software, and its ease of use is critical for great documentation. Chartpath provides excellent customer service on both the support and technical sides. I always feel like a priority customer, and their team, understands our daily needs and handles things in real-time.
Cons
My only complaint is that we were sold this product as a complete solution for our business, but the software isn't compatible for billing needs. We have been told numerous times since deployment that the software isn't used as the "source of truth" for insurance by any other customers. We have found this to be a difficult issue in building our interface with our billing company and in storing, entering insurance data and transferring it. There have been many improvements since we went live October 2021, but we continue to wish the system really was a one stop shop for our business! The only other issue we have is with the integration fee. We were sold on this product as being able to integrate with Point Click Care and then sold it to our customers with integration as a key element, but now we are paying the PCC fee at $100 a month per integrated facility. We've tried to pass on the cost to the facilities with zero luck and are currently either stuck paying for it ourselves or denying this integration service entirely. This fee needs to go away or be billed directly to facilities when they sign up for the integration service, rather than passing through us as the ChartPath customer.

I can honestly say the customer service with Chartpath is unmatched. What an amazing team they have!
Cons
One thing I've noticed is that the scheduling or appointment feature doesn't automatically notify me in a noticeable way when a patient is due for a follow-up visit.

The integration with Point Click Care and our billing software makes charting so much easier and ensures that we stay compliant with the guidelines in our practice.
Cons
I wish that as an administrator, I could customize our notes with simple field updates on my own without needing extra help.

Cons
