Fantastic support and integration

Pros

Between the price, the clean user interface and the full clearinghouse integration, this software has been a really solid choice. The tech support is especially incredible.. honestly the best support I've ever dealt with.

Cons

I haven't come across any downsides yet.

buggy workflow and bad reports

Pros

The interface looks nice and at first the SOAP section feels fairly simple to use.

Cons

Using it day to day feels very buggy. I have to refresh it a lot, the reports are poor and often inaccurate and there are way too many clicks to get basic things done. Entering financial information means jumping between different screens and the system can even crash while doing it. Text reminders still go out even when an appointment has been canceled or rescheduled which creates confusion. The calendar also does not give a clear big-picture view of future visits. On top of that, it ends up costing far more than $99 a month and demands a lot of time to manage.

Customizable workflow and stellar support

Pros

Everything runs efficiently and the software has an excellent flow for documentation and billing. It's also highly customizable, reasonably priced and backed by outstanding customer service.

Cons

On rare occasions, it can be a little slow since it's cloud and internet based. It would also help to have more note-taking and documentation options for doctors to choose from.

affordable cloud access and reliable support

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is the price especially for what's included. It didn't take long to learn, the system is simple to use and being cloud-based means I can get to it from anywhere. It covers everything I need to keep a busy practice running and whenever help is needed, the support team is quick to respond and available.

Cons

At the moment, patients still can't fill out their intake forms online which would definitely save time for the office. I was told that feature is expected to be released later this month.

Chiropractic-focused and always accessible

Pros

I'm still getting used to everything but I'm really excited to have software that's actually built for chiropractors. One of the biggest benefits is being able to access it from my laptop at home, my phone or my iPad. That means I can keep working whether I'm at the office, at home or out and about. Another thing I really appreciate is the 24/7 tech support and their response time has been incredibly fast.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues so far.

all patient info at one place

Pros

Having all the important patient details on a single screen is really helpful. Appointment reminders are also a nice touch. Since it's cloud based, there's no software to install or keep updating and I can run my practice from anywhere as long as I have an internet connection my iPhone works too. The support team has been friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond. Also, the pricing is genuinely hard to beat.

Cons

Manually posting payments does take some time. If you're looking to save even more effort especially with higher patient volumes or limited staff signing up for ERAs is the way to go. It removes the need to post payments by hand and automates the full process.

so good

Pros

The support team has been outstanding really outstanding. They put in a ton of effort and it feels like our office genuinely appreciates what they're doing for the profession. The billing module is equally impressive. Coming from Medisoft which has been around for years, our accounting there was never consistently accurate (which was likely tied to how we were using it). This system gives you visibility into essentially every transaction, what was posted, what was written off and what payments were applied. Patient payments stay in the system as unapplied credits until the claim comes back. Then the software adjusts the line items, applies patient responsibility and closes the claim. It's basically a clear "process and done" workflow. For Medicare patients, it's important to review write offs carefully. Some insurers mark certain services think exams, extremities, etc. as non covered and the system can automatically mirror that. When posting the EOB, you'll need to manually assign those responsibilities to the patient but once you understand the pattern, it becomes manageable. If someone can pick up on it, others can too. Remits also post with minimal hassle. The integration with Office Ally is excellent and you don't even need an Office Ally account. You only interact with Office Ally while setting up your insurance companies for EOB/ERA/EDI, then you're done. If a claim doesn't go through, Office Ally typically gives you a reason so you can correct the issue and resubmit. Overall, it handles the billing workflow in a way that feels very dependable.

Cons

This product is still relatively new so there are some quirks and growing pains. It took us a little time to learn the quirks. One specific example, don't press the Enter key on the payment entry screen doing so can mess up the whole flow. Claim timelines can be a bit optimistic too "30 seconds" might be pushing it. Collecting, applying and accounting for a copay or deductible payment alone can take around 15 seconds and there's a fair amount of clicking involved just to enter a payment. It also doesn't pull forward anything automatically from previous visits. If you want to track relevant changes in a patient's picture from one visit to the next, documentation takes some extra time. The software does carry over information from the last visit and makes certain parts simpler but a few screens feel a bit disconnected or disjointed.

fantastic support and billing

Pros

Right away, the support team deserves a ton of credit.. they are truly outstanding. They work incredibly hard and I sincerely hope they get the recognition they deserve for what they contribute to this profession. Our office has a huge amount of appreciation for them. The billing module has also been excellent. We used Medisoft for years and the accounting side never felt completely accurate for us, probably at least partly because of how we were using it. With this system though, you can track every transaction, posting, write-off and payment in detail. Patient payments stay in the system as unapplied credits until the claim is returned and then we adjust the line items, assign the patient responsibility and close the claim. That part is very simple. One important thing for Medicare patients is to review the write-offs carefully. One of our larger insurers marks exams, extremities and similar items as non-covered and the software will automatically follow that status. When posting the EOB, you have to manually move those amounts to patient responsibility. If I was able to learn it, anyone can. Posting remits is about as painless as it gets. The Office Ally integration is excellent too and you do not even need to have your own account with them. You really only deal with Office Ally when setting up insurance companies for EOB, ERA and EDI and after that, that is pretty much it. If a claim gets rejected, you just need to find out why.. they usually tell you.. then fix it and resubmit.

Cons

Since this is still a relatively new product, there are definitely some quirks they are still ironing out. It took us some time to learn the system and work around those oddities. One example: if you hit the enter key on the payment entry screen, it can derail the whole process. That said from what I can tell, they are actively working through these issues and they do pay attention to user feedback. The claim that you can do a note and claim in 30 seconds feels a bit optimistic. If you are collecting, applying and accounting for a copay or deductible, that alone can eat up 15 seconds. Entering a payment also involves a fair amount of clicking and it does not remember details from prior visits. If you want to document meaningful changes in the patient's condition from one visit to the next, that also takes a little extra time although it does carry forward information from the previous visit and makes the process fairly manageable. A few screens feel somewhat disconnected from each other. The software still lacks some of the polish it will probably have in another year or so but it handles the job very well and feels ideal for small to mid-sized practices. I am less convinced it is the best fit for a very high-volume office but if that is your setup, having someone nearby with a laptop might solve that. We also had a couple of Friday mornings with no service because of server updates and related maintenance. Those feel like normal growing pains and considering what the software offers at a very reasonable price, it has not been a major issue. One other limitation worth noting: you cannot have multiple unsigned notes open for the same patient.

all-in-one access and excellent support

Pros

Having all the important patient information available on one screen makes day-to-day work much more convenient. The appointment reminders are a nice bonus and since it's cloud-based, there's nothing to install or update. I can get into my practice from anywhere with an internet connection even from my iPhone which is really helpful. The support team has also been friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond. On top of that, the pricing is hard to beat.

Cons

The only downside is that posting payments manually can be time-consuming. I'd strongly suggest signing up for ERAs since that removes the need for manual payment posting and automates the whole process. It's a real time saver especially for higher-volume practices or offices working with limited staff.

fantastic remote access and support

Pros

Being able to use it from anywhere with an internet connection has been a huge plus. The built-in billing is really convenient and the customer service has been amazing every time I've needed help. Everyone is very friendly and it's clear they keep working on improvements and upgrades to make the system better.

Cons

A few muscles, ligaments and tendons are still missing from the dropdown lists. Since I'm a sports chiropractor and do a lot of detailed soft tissue work, I'm very specific about the structures I document and treat. It's not a major issue but I'd definitely appreciate having more detailed options.

Great office control

Pros

After the initial learning curve, the system is really simple to use. I especially like managing my whole office from my tablet or phone. Support has been quick to respond and the team seems genuinely well trained in how the platform works. Updates come in frequently too and they consistently improve speed and usability without adding any extra cost.

Cons

There are some built in items that could be expanded like the pre populated insurance companies and the referral sheets that combine Demographic + Insurance + Type of Request for sending to imaging or MD offices. Nothing is actively wrong with the system, it's more a wishlist for what I'd like to see added in future updates.

Powerful mobile office management

Pros

There's definitely a bit of a learning curve at first but once you get through that, the system becomes very simple to work with. Being able to manage my entire office from a tablet or phone has been a huge advantage. The support team responds quickly and clearly knows the software inside and out. I also appreciate that updates come out often and usually improve speed and usability without adding extra cost.

Cons

I really don't have any major complaints about the system. The only things I'd still like to see are pre-populated insurance companies and referral sheets that include demographics, insurance and request type for sending to imaging centers or MD offices in future updates.
