all-in-one EHR standout

Pros

Using ChiroFusion has been a breath of fresh air. It's incredibly user-friendly and far better than any other EHR system I've worked with. Having everything together in one place is a huge plus as well.

Cons

The only thing missing is AI integration. That said it seems like something that could be added in the near future and I'm confident it will be.

affordable and practical setup

Pros

The pricing feels very reasonable so you're not locked into a massive contract or adding unnecessary financial pressure to your practice. Having the server installed at the clinic is also a big plus and makes the whole setup feel more manageable.

Cons

One small issue is with the onset date in HCFA box 14. There are two places in a patient account where that date can be entered which makes it possible to put in different dates by mistake and creates room for errors.

excellent value and support

Pros

For the price it delivers a lot of value. It's a solid choice for anyone just starting out in practice and getting everything set up and integrated was simple. The support team has also been fantastic so I'd absolutely recommend it.

Cons

I'd still like to see a built-in way to save macros within the system. Aside from that I really don't have much negative to say.

Well-organized our office workflow

Pros

From the interface to daily office management, everything feels simple and well organized. Getting the system up and running was simple, training staff didn't take much effort and the overall setup is very user-friendly. Notes can be completed quickly, billing is simple to handle and the whole system just works without much hassle.

Cons

The team promised me the pricing would not increase but it did anyway. Also while the system is nearly perfect for PART documentation, it can be somewhat time-consuming when working with rehabilitative exercises and other rehab-focused treatment options.

user-friendly and highly customizable

Pros

Right from the start the software layout felt very user friendly. It follows the SOAP format which makes everything more organized and it also offers a lot of customization options.

Cons

One part that took a bit of getting used to was editing a claim after it had already been created. The process is a little more involved than expected but it is manageable and we have it figured out now.

Simple onboarding experience

Pros

Getting around the system feels very simple and the onboarding makes the learning process simple because they guide you step by step through how to use and navigate everything.

Cons

There really isn't anything major that comes to mind since it already covers pretty much everything. If I had to suggest one thing, having a bit more room for customization would be nice.

Fast notes and best value

Pros

Switching from our previous software has been a very simple transition. The pricing is easily the most affordable we found and documentation gets finished faster while also being more thorough than it was with the other systems we used before.

Cons

One small limitation is that family emails can't be linked and there isn't an option to keep more than one email address for a family.

Chiropractic holy grail!!

Pros

This really feels like a chiropractor's holy grail. The SOAP notes are thorough and detailed and I love how it tracks stats in a way that lets you view and analyze them however you prefer.

Cons

The only issue I've run into is with the HCFA1500 form not printing correctly anymore because of my printer. When I first started using this tool, the text lined up properly in the right boxes without any trouble.

User-friendly features I love

Pros

Right away the biggest plus for me has been how user-friendly the system is. I really appreciate that I can access and update important details from different parts of the software. For example while posting, I'm able to view or edit a patient's insurance and case information without having to open the patient's full account and then jump back to posting. That kind of convenience saves time and makes the workflow much better.

Cons

I haven't run into any downsides. The system has been excellent so far. I've used other chiropractic software before and I really wish they included some of the same features it offers.

Simple and complete EMR

Pros

Flexible, full-featured, consistently updated and genuinely simple to work with. It's one of the few EMRs I actually enjoy using which is something I never thought I'd say.

Cons

The only downside was not being able to bring over all of my data from my previous EMR here although that doesn't seem to be their fault. From what I can tell it's a common issue across the board.

patients love the reminders

Pros

Patients really appreciate the text reminder feature and being able to send email receipts with one click right from the payment screen is a big plus.

Cons

Nothing much to complain about. The only minor annoyance is that the system jumps back to the top of the screen while approving charges.

Powerful all-in-one clinic platform

Pros

There's a lot built into this system and it covers just about every part a chiropractic clinic needs to run successfully, no matter how big or small the practice is.

Cons

The constant push toward using the OpenEdge terminal gets old. I understand they have a partnership in place but the upselling around it feels a bit excessive.

Fast, reliable chiropractic software

Pros

Hands down the best software I've used for chiropractic work. It's incredibly fast, very reliable and I'd recommend it 10/10 without hesitation. I'll definitely be suggesting it to others.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say. I've tried everything I could and still didn't come across anything to dislike. Everything has been excellent :)

simple setup and flexible pricing

Pros

Only about two weeks into using it and the software has been very simple to work with. The simple layout and monthly pricing options made it easy to get started right away and the training helped me discover extra tips and features that made the workflow even more organized.

Cons

No major problems. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that features like electronic intake, online appointment scheduling and text reminders have to be added on separately though considering the price, it still feels reasonable.

fresh design and clear font

Pros

The interface feels fresh with its green look and the font is clear and comfortable to work with.

Cons

What I really want added is better tracking of every appointment a patient has had. The dashboard could also be more simple so instead of having to leave notes in the system, it would simply show how many times a client has come in, like 5 or 6 visits.

autofill and billing convenience

Pros

One thing that really helps is how it autofills notes after the first follow-up so I only have to update what changed instead of typing everything over again. Billing is very simple too since all the relevant information is already entered for you. On top of that, their customer service has been excellent.

Cons

There is not much to complain about. The only issue I have noticed is that I cannot open more than one ChiroFusion window at the same time. When I am handling billing while also working the front desk, I cannot just switch between tabs. I was able to work around it by creating a separate login just for billing and opening that in another tab so it is manageable. I also do not think this would be a problem for most offices.

Pros

Billing insurance and putting together detailed notes has become much more efficient for our practice with ChiroFusion.

Cons

Each account can only use a single email address which gets complicated when you're treating a lot of patients' kids. People really do not like having to create so many separate emails.

Helpful once learned

Pros

After spending some time figuring out how the system works, it became pretty simple to follow. The hard part was the learning curve at the beginning. Also if you wanted to actually talk to someone and ask questions, you had to pay a fee that covered three months of support.

Cons

Support is the biggest frustration. They will respond by email but most of the time they just direct you to watch their video demos instead of answering the question directly. And if you'd rather talk to someone on the phone because it feels faster, be prepared to pay for that too.

Data loss and no support

Pros

Honestly this has been the worst experience I've ever had. Data disappears and customer support is basically non-existent.

Cons

Customer support is severely lacking. There's no way to reach an actual person, everything is automated and they never return calls.

Cloud security stands out

Pros

Having pre-loaded objective tests and measurements already built in saves a lot of time. The ICD-10 and CPT code lookup is simple and being able to customize templates for common conditions makes daily charting much more practical. The cloud storage and security are also a big plus.

Cons

A small frustration is that some charts get moved to inactive a little too quickly so they do not appear in the initial search field when I expect them to.

Real-time charting

easy to use software

Pros

I've been using it since 2018 and it has been a very user-friendly program overall. When something comes up, the issue is usually resolved quickly either by watching one of the short tutorial videos in their large help library or by sending a simple email to the support team. It's a pretty basic system which makes it simple to learn and simple to use.

Cons

One frustrating part is how many steps it takes to reverse a check when an insurance company pulls back money or when a payment was posted incorrectly. The patient ledger that many patients ask for at the end of the year is also very confusing and not very user friendly. Patients really don't need to see a full breakdown of the payment history for a single visit. It would be much better if that were simplified.

Pros

Navigating ChiroFusion feels very simple. The layout is organized so I'm not constantly clicking through a bunch of screens just to reach the page I need. Being able to pull up patient information from whatever page I'm already working on is also a huge plus.

Cloud access from anywhere

Pros

smooth implementation !

Pros

Back at my previous job this tool handled scheduling, billing and documentation really well and that's exactly why I decided to stick with it when I opened my own practice. The transition and implementation went flawlessly so staying with the platform felt like the right choice.

Cons

On its own the software isn't especially simple to navigate without support or the training videos. That said the required training sessions do a lot to bridge that gap and make it much easier to use.

Reliable performance year after year

Pros

After seven years of using this tool in our clinic, we're still very happy with how well it performs. The functionality has been excellent especially for such a reasonably priced system. We haven't run into any major limitations with either the documentation or billing features. On the rare occasions when small issues have come up which happens with any software, the customer service team has handled them quickly and effectively. Its consistent performance and user-friendly design are exactly why we plan to keep using it for the long term.
