Kiosk check-in solution

Pros

We transitioned from paper registration to electronic check-in kiosks with Clearwave. We appreciate the scalability and customization options. Integration with our current vendor is decent, but we look forward to more flexibility with another EHR vendor soon. Customer support is responsive and excellent. There's no way we'd go back to the old-fashioned patient check-in method.

Cons

Like any software, we continually seek updates and greater customization. I believe Clearwave listens to feedback and strives to enhance its offerings to remain current.

Clearwave

Pros

Implementing the Clearwave kiosk has streamlined our check-in process across the board. Previously, patients had to fill out 7-10 pages of information; now, it's just one page, with plans to go completely paperless by year-end! The savings in paper and ink alone have been substantial. The mobile pre-check is also convenient for tech-savvy patients. I'm impressed with their development team, which actively seeks user feedback to enhance the Clearwave experience.

Cons

Due to limitations within our current EMR system, we are unable to fully utilize all features offered by Clearwave. Nonetheless, we are content with our current capabilities and eagerly anticipate expanded functionalities with a future EMR platform switch.

Excellent Customer Service

Pros

The insurance verification tool is incredibly useful.

Cons

Engaging both staff and patients with the software's features has been challenging. Even after two years, patients still struggle with using the kiosk for check-ins rather than relying on staff assistance.
