cons outweigh pros

Pros

Personally I find the employee portal to be a really useful feature.

Cons

While I was employed at Houston Methodist Hospital they assured us they would create a few custom forms but those never materialized. Serving as the director of clinical care my colleagues and I felt profoundly let down by their lack of follow through after the vast sums of money and hours our hospital invested to purchase and roll out their system. We had been optimistic that the new software would reduce our workload given all the resources we poured into it. It ended up being the single biggest outlay of my entire decade in that role. Instead of improving things, our clinical requests were ignored and we were actually worse off on the clinical side when using their product. I had not previously worked with an occupational health software vendor who promised action and then simply shelved the work indefinitely. Frankly I am puzzled by the glowing testimonials on their site and wanted to share what I experienced. If you're tempted by their features but need customization, make sure your contract includes a firm deadline for custom reports so you have some leverage. That way if they fail to deliver you might have a path to recourse...maybe.

Easy to use and efficient tool

Pros

This service feels like a cross between Google and WebMD to me. When I'm using EH I can pull up all of my clients' information in just one or two clicks which saves alot of time. The homepage offers a wide range of options and seems to include almost anything I might need to find right down to workplace injury details.

Cons

Sometimes getting where I need to go inside the platform takes more than a few tabs and clicks and it can feel a bit cumbersome. I have to be very exact on the search screen to pull up specific information which adds to the frustration. It's definitely a little difficult for me but I've found that's true of most portal services.

Pros

Honestly I'm really impressed with how simple it is to find my way around and how much helpful information is available to everyone. More of our team are using it and staying better informed and healthier because of it.

Cons

There's not a lot I dislike at this point. I am quite satisfied with what little I've seen so far, and I hope the team adds more employee focused features as the product continues to develop in the future.

I really like the fact that customer support is very helpful and the program's pretty quick and easy-to-navigate overall.

Cons

support team was really cool with all the help we needed

Pros

I'm impressed that their support team really understands not only the ins and outs of the application but also the business processes we're trying to put in place. They respond promptly whenever we need help and they adapt quickly to shifts in the landscape such as changes around COVID contact tracing and encounter tracking.

Cons

For us the biggest drawback is that we can't perform many tasks independently. The application is built on technology we're not entirely comfortable with so we often need to reach out to EH when we have reporting requests or other similar needs.

the brain of the EHR operations

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is having all of our information centralized and available worldwide. That central access has made it much easier for our team to streamline how we chart and manage our data.

Cons

We ran into problems because many components come 'out of the box,' and when we need to tweak certain things for usability or to meet our data requirements those customizations can conflict with later updates. The rollout itself was challenging for our team since most of our sites around the world had never used this platform before. Even though we had 2.5 days of training we still walked away with a lot of unresolved questions which was particularly tough for colleagues who are English-as-a-Second-Language speakers. I honestly think that, with better planning, the training could be structured differently -- for example offering materials and sessions in other languages.... to make the transition a lot smoother.

Simple navigation

Pros

I have found the system really easy to use and whenever I need help their customer support has been absolutely fantastic!

Cons

notifying employees about overdue tests and making sure they receive their test results through Enterprise Health is very smooth and simple to do.

Avoid chaos with EH

Pros

We've found that the EH tool offers a broad set of features that we could tailor to each client's specific needs. Moving our clinics to a paperless medical record system has been a major benefit - it saves us time, reduces costs and frees up much needed office space. Having everyone operating in the same platform has also noticeably improved how we coordinate with Worker's Compensation and Occupational Health Services. During customization and data migration the EH team demonstrated deep expertise; they suggested practical changes that boosted functionality and efficiency in ways we hadn't thought of.

Cons

I appreciate that during configuration, data migration and training the EH team was quick to respond and fixed issues promptly. Now that we're into the support phase however, I'm noticing a drop in responsiveness: problems or requests that need additional tweaks take longer to get attention and I often have to follow up with reminders. I understand support is a different service tier and that new feature requests may need more time but when the system is performing poorly I expect those issues to be handled more promptly with regular updates from EH about progress and status.

centralized information for our clinic available worldwide

Pros

From my experience Enterprise Health followed a consistent and well-defined process while guiding us through the migration to their platform. They weren't improvising as they went and that made the whole transition feel safer and far more reassuring for our clinicians.

Cons

Since go-live we haven't been receiving the level of support or timely responses to problems that we experienced during the implementation phase.

Just the right tool

Pros

We have to call out the customer service, quick turn-around times and the ability to personalize the product..they've been notable. We've managed to address our mandatory flu campaign workflow problems, recent COVID requirements and broader surveillance needs all with one product. EH

Cons

I find the mobile apps could use some improvements for Apple users

Flexible EHS solution

Pros

I found it can be fully tailored to fit an organization's regulatory framework,specific business requirements, and safety risk profile. Plus it's very intuitive to use and the mobile app version noticeably boosts both productivity and on-the-go flexibility.

Cons

from my POV there isn't any downside to the system; I consider it absolutely flawless.
