Support team is just as amazing as the app

Pros

eResidentCare software is really easy to work with and offers lots of ways to customize things to fit different needs. Also their customer support is fantastic as issues get resolved fast and they regularly roll out updates based on what users ask for.

Cons

No complaints at all. After a full year of using it we are still glad we made the switch as it has been a great move for us.

Works fine!

Pros

The simplicity of the system makes it easy for all staff to us it but the good thing is that access stays limited to authorized users. Plus the mobile app makes it pretty easy for us to check a client's chart while we are at an appointment.

Cons

One thing that is missing is an autocorrect feature. It does not fix typos or spelling mistakes while we are typing which causes trouble when we are in a hurry.

Pros

It is a user-friendly system and the support team is always quick to help and fix problems. I used this software at my previous ALH and liked it enough to recommend it to my new employer.

Cons

Occasionally the system goes down for maintenance without any warning which can catch us off guard.

Helping me run things well

Pros

Every time we reach out they pick up the call and guide us through whatever we need help with. So I will give their support a solid 5 out of 5.

Cons

Honestly I have nothing bad to say as they have done a really great job across the board.

Easy to train others

Pros

What I like the most is how simple it is to use. Plus training new team members on it is pretty easy too.

Cons

I wish it had a built-in timesheet feature where employees could clock in and out. I have seen systems that won't let you complete a timesheet until all shift documentation is done which is great for quality control.

Good documentation software

Pros

The app is simple to use and works great for us in different types of residential care settings.

Cons

While it is not the easiest system to customize, the good thing is that there is a little room to adjust things for us when needed.

Best one I've used so far

Pros

It is easy to use, the customer support is excellent and it covers everything needed for running an assisted living facility. I must say not every software out there offers as much as eResidentCare does.

Cons

I would really like to see a pending tasks section for things like Disaster Drills and Service Plans. Also on Incident Reports having a body diagram where we can mark affected areas would be great, especially since it is required by the state.

takes the stress out of my life

Pros

eResidentCare really lightens my workload. As long as I have internet, I can access everything from anywhere.

Cons

A few of our staff members do have a bit of trouble with documenting their notes in the system.

Proven quite useful

Pros

The simplicity is what stands out to me the most. Plus entering info is pretty easy and quick.

Cons

The section for diagnoses and ICD codes feels too detailed for our needs. In New Mexico assisted living is all private pay, so we don't really use long codes or complex diagnoses.

Feature-rich tool

Pros

I really like that I can use just the features I need. Other software I have tried was hard to get around but eResidentCare's layout is clear, simple and easy to follow.

Cons

Well I wish there was a mobile app or at least better access on tablets as it would make things way more convenient.
