Quick access to patient information

Pros

The interface is beautifully simple and puts all the patient information right at my fingertips exactly when I need it. Whether I'm looking up patients or staff details I can find what I'm after without any hassle or extra clicks. It keeps everything flowing smoothly during a busy day.

Cons

Personally I wish there were a way to search for patients by a caregiver's name. I've run into situations where I only knew who the caregiver was and finding the correct patient record quickly became harder than it needed to be.

easy system learning

Pros

This hospice tool is very easy for me to navigate and pick up largely because colleagues have taken the time to walk me through the system and teach me how it works.

Cons

From using the hospice tool regularly I feel the site could grow by adding more features. I also think it would improve a lot by taking in more suggestions from people like me who work with it every day.

User-friendly eMR with audit reporting

Pros

What really stands out to me is how user-friendly this EMR feels. Navigating through it is simple and running different audit reports makes reviewing records much easier and less time-consuming for me.

Cons

Honestly speaking being able to search for patients by date of birth would save me a lot of time. For me that would be a much faster way to locate someone compared to the current search options.

faster documentation with better care

Pros

Overall the system feels very easy for me to use. It supports better patient care, speeds up documentation and allows me to quickly locate patient records which helps a lot during busy days. I also appreciate that it integrates smoothly with timekeeping tools.

Cons

Another improvement I'd love is the ability to capture screenshots of the last six full vital-sign readings. In my workflow having those ready to pull up during visits would make appointments run more smoothly.

Unified data in one workflow

Pros

From my experience everything feels well organized and easy to follow. Having all information stored in one place helps me view, share and enter workflow-related details without jumping between systems.

Cons

There isn't much that bothers me overall but I do notice some lag after updates roll out. Even so I still find it easy enough to work with. I often end up opening multiple windows just to view different pieces of patient information together which can feel a bit laggy.

Reliable data retrieval across sources

Pros

After using this tool both before and after it became part of my daily routine I can see a huge difference. I used to collect data manually but now I retrieve even more information with far less effort. The program feels reliable and stress-free and no matter where I search, across states, sites, or accounts it consistently delivers what I need.

Cons

Looking back this tool actually covers my needs very well. Before I had it I used to hunt down sales data on my own, step by step because I knew exactly what I was after. Now the system often anticipates what I'm looking for and brings the data to me which honestly feels like a big step forward.

Simple documentation with easy corrections

Pros

Using the Unity Hospice eDocs app has been simple for me when recording patient concerns and notes. The layout feels simple and I like that I can easily fix mistakes if I enter something incorrectly.

Cons

From my perspective I find the app tends to forget my credentials too easily and routinely prompts me to change my password or forces me to log in again.

essential tool for tracking volunteer hours

Pros

As a part-time volunteer with Unity Hospice's WI office I'm still getting familiar with the platform. Even so logging my volunteer hours has been very easy and I truly appreciate having a clear and dependable way to track my time and contributions.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of any problems with this tool.. nothing comes to mind that I don't like. Since I'm only using it for my volunteer work it meets my needs perfectly and I don't have any complaints about its performance or usefulness.

easy access with automatic time syncing

Pros

Accessing the system on both my phone and computer feels effortless. I really like that eDocs automatically syncs with Timekeeper which saves me from having to update things twice.

Cons

As a nurse I can't pull up trends from past entries like weight and vital signs....in eDocs unless I open a brand-new comprehensive visit note which is really inconvenient.

simple design with room to grow

Pros

So far the platform feels very simple and easy to navigate for me. I'm genuinely hopeful that future updates will make it feel even more refined and smoother to use overall.

Cons

Sometimes the app lags and I run into problems saving documents when I add notes I wish there were a single shared view so everyone could find and read them easily.

Quick adoption for new clinicians

Pros

When it comes to onboarding new clinicians and surveyors I've noticed how quickly they can pick it up. That ease of use saves us time and eliminates the need to print and physically hand over chart copies.

Cons

We'd find it far more convenient if the program allowed us to complete forms offline and then upload everything once we reconnect since out in the field we frequently run into internet connectivity problems that prevent real-time entry.

easy documentation

Pros

For someone like me who isn't especially tech-savvy the software feels very approachable. Creating documentation and generating reports is simple which makes daily tasks feel much less intimidating.

Cons

A frustrating issue I keep encountering is that whenever I print a document, an extra sheet is produced that serves no purpose, it only holds a footer and contains no real content. That quirk doubles my paper usage every time I need to print which is really wasteful.

Multi-tasking that improves daily workflow

Pros

One thing I really enjoy is being able to keep multiple tools open at once. Seeing my calendar visits while working inside a patient's chart makes my workflow feel much more connected and efficient.

Cons

When I place a treatment order from the wound table I have to leave the document I'm working in and open a different document to enter the order so it will appear which then allows me to finish documenting the wound.

Clear guidance when issues arise

Pros

Getting around the app feels easy and whenever I've run into an issue the explanations have been clear. That clarity helps me resolve problems without frustration.

Cons

Pros

Navigating through the system feels simple and well guided. I like that it clearly points out mistakes and provides step-by-step direction so I never have to waste time searching for patient details.

Cons

Currently there's no option to reveal the password after I've typed it into the field I would really appreciate being able to check what I've entered before finally sending it off.

Hospice-focused and thorough documentation

Pros

What I appreciate about it is that it's hospice-focused, easy to navigate and it prompts me to enter all the necessary details to ensure complete documentation.

Cons

My only issue is that when I use the filter inside the eDoc notes the items don't appear in alphabetical order otherwise I haven't run into any other issues with this tool.

Pros

For my part I find the biggest strengths are how simple and efficient the tool is. I can easily move around thanks to the platform's layout and pages load quickly without much waiting.

Most user-friendly tool

Pros

Over the years I've used four different EMRs in various hospice roles and I can honestly say this is by far the most user-friendly option I've worked with it's the easiest to navigate thoughtfully designed for the tasks I handle and far less likely to make me repeat work or submit something wrong that later needs fixing. The interface is easy and simple offering nearly every feature I could ask for and I estimate it frees up roughly 20 hours of my time each month so I can focus on more meaningful responsibilities.

Cons

While the volunteer module is largely great but I've noticed a few minor areas that could be tightened up to improve the experience. To my knowledge this EMR is the only one that actually includes a built-in volunteer interface and that integration makes it easy for volunteers across different ages and comfort levels with technology to jump in and use it without much hand-holding.
