I am very happy

Pros

The software is nice with very useful features. The user interface is very friendly and its very easy to navigate. We use it for many of our tasks.

Cons

It crashes sometimes. Even though its not often but when it does, it can cost us a lot of time. I dont think this should happen when you are paying this much amount for software.

I am very impressed

Pros

We really like using reporting tools for our tasks. It is very easy to navigate and the user interface is very intuitive.

Cons

It is very hard to get to their customer support. We really dislike how they are very slow at resolving issues.

Excellent Billing tools

Pros

Kareo, for us, has been nothing but a blessing. We have been using it for a long time now and it is by far the best software with the most amazing billing tools.

Cons

My only problem with Kareo is that I wish Kareo would not make you get out of the pt insurance info area to check the pts eligibility.

Awesome experience

Pros

It has been 8 years since we are using Kareo and we have all the good things to say about it. The reporting tool is so useful and our favorite.

Cons

There are no cons that I can think of. It is amazing.

Excellent software

Pros

Exceptional features, great customer service, and super easy to navigate. Get it installed if you need great results.

Cons

The one and only bad thing about this software is that if the patient has more than 2 insurances then it doesnt carry over from web pt to Kareo for billing.

Great software with some flaws

Pros

Good software, overall with good functionalities. It is very easy to navigate and teach to new employees.

Cons

The software locks and crashes very often which costs us a lot of time and energy.

Billing

Pros

My onboarding is quite extensive, and the onboarding representative assigned to me was amazing. The kareo billing module is extremely user-friendly, simple and easy to learn and use. It doesn’t have a high learning curve. The layout is intuitive and navigating through the system is pretty easy.

Cons

It doesn’t handle the Medicare claims, but yeah it does handle the most major ones.

Not the best

Pros

It comes at a much affordable price than any other EMRs. I like how it is cloud-based. With this I am able to send out direct messages to the patients’ phone as an email or a text.

Cons

I don’t really appreciate or like this software as a whole. There are different labels for documents in each Kareo system which I do not really like, as it confuses me. I cannot correct financial errors by myself, always have to contact support for it. This system is something far from a solution or a day-to-day use as it takes a lot of your energy. Multiple pages fax always takes a lot of time as they come one by one. I just don’t like this product.

Kareo Review

Pros

The system is quite user-friendly. I like the support team of this product. They are very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. They’ve always solved my problems in a very timely manner.

Cons

The notes that I add to the patients’ chart seems to be unprintable, and I would like to have a feature that allows to print it.

Great support.

Pros

I like the billing of this system, and the way it is able to capture all the billing for my providers. Things have been so easier with Kareo, and using its billing is amazing. The support that we get is great.

Cons

It has a high learning curve when it comes to correcting errors in payment posting.

User-friendly.

Pros

The customer support of this product is great, the people are friendly and good. The software itself is quite user-friendly and being a mental health facility, our experience with this product has been good, yet. This system is great in way that they are always improving, and they listen closely to their customers feedback and utilize the feedback to improve. It is a good software.

Cons

No software is perfect, so same goes for this one. It often has general software issues and can be a bit frustrating as well.

Easy billing

Pros

This system is simple, nice and easy. I can review the EOBs every single day in a clean and nice format. I can post my normal charges and billing codes easily. They are a great team, they’ve always helped me through. I was very worried when I started using this system as I had no proper training, but they’ve always been there to help me. I am quite happy with the system and I like the billing part the most.

Cons

The merchant system stripe isn’t well set in the system itself. It wouldn’t let me allocate money to different areas. I’ve talked to the customer support about it and they say they’re working on it.

Review

Pros

The customer support team of Kareo is quite good, they are knowledgeable, motivated and do know how to solve things and keep their customers happy. The system is user-friendly and navigating through is smooth and fun. I like to personalize the claim scrubbing process and fit it to our needs.

Cons

It is hard to generate secondary claims with Kareo. They do need to make changes to that part of the system. What works with one claim does not work with another, it gets quite frustrating just trying to figure things out.

Simple and easy.

Pros

The system is simple, and easy to use. It has great functionality. This product has everything and comes at an affordable price. It is by far the easiest and simplest of all to learn and use even when you don’t have much computer experience. Their webinars are great as well and I did get to learn a lot from it.

Cons

It is hard to make changes to an account once the money gets posted, and I was unable to do it without assistance. The customer service helped me sort out this issue that I was facing.

ERA postings

Pros

The A/R of the system wasn’t accurate when I started using it, but I discussed the issue with Kareo support and they helped me resolve it. Now, I am confident about my aging reports and its accuracy. Tracking claims from submission to payers through patient payments is so easy with this product. The part I like the most about this product is its accuracy of submissions, reports etc. It is easy to post payments from an ERA.

Cons

Nothing is perfect, I know, but I also believe that this issue can be solved, and they can improve it. The reports cannot be customized the way you want as it does restrict you a bit. The reports that are available can be used, but to add things that I need often is either painstaking or impossible.
