“integrated instruments, clear reporting
Pros
For my lab I find it incredibly effective that all instruments are integrated into one system. Having reporting capabilities and a balance sheet all in one place saves us time and keeps everything accurate. It's made managing our workflow so much smoother.
Cons
I don't have many complaints about features but I did find it somewhat tricky for new users to get started.

“Easy ihc add-on management
Pros
Creating add-ons for new IHC stains is something I find very easy to manage.
Cons
For me the main frustration is being limited to a single open version at any moment so whenever I switch between different computers I have to sign out of the tool on one machine before I can log in on another. I often jump between systems during my workflow and having to keep logging out and back in breaks my pace and feels like an unnecessary hassle.

Pros
Working closely with the tool I requested several workflow changes and I was impressed that they were implemented so everything functions exactly as needed.
Cons
Whenever we've found issues the tool's developers have stepped in to diagnose the problem and implement fixes that make it operate exactly how I expect.

“Limited scope outside anatomic pathology
Pros
A pathologist recommended this software to me for Anatomic Pathology and I've been very satisfied with its performance.
Cons
I find this software unsuitable for any laboratory testing outside Anatomic Pathology because it isn't built for other lab types. I'm also frustrated by how unfriendly the interface is, there isn't any option to record notes that include the user's ID, date, time and similar metadata.

Pros
During accessioning, I find the software fast, reliable and feasible, with simple operation alongside our cassette and slide printers.
Cons
Occasionally I've noticed a brief delay while I'm waiting for certain fields to populate.

“smooth EHR integration & compliance
Pros
What I appreciate most is its smooth integration with our EHR system, the vendor's support team provided excellent resources, helping us transition without major issues. I also value the record-keeping and compliance features which are regularly updated to stay aligned with regulations.
Cons
At first I found the overall management of the system a bit confusing but as we kept using the software I became more comfortable and increasingly confident in how it works.

“easy workflow across tasks
Pros
The workflow is extremely feasible. From accessioning to entering gross descriptions, processing the case and getting the pathologist to sign off, everything moves along smoothly. I also find it very simple to pull statistics and use the system for day-to-day tasks.
Cons
I haven't been able to find any real drawbacks with this tool in version 8.0.

The tool feels feasible to use, with fields tailored to our line of work and fast data entry inside each tab.
Cons
Overall I feel there are more advantages than drawbacks to this software. The customer service team was always ready to assist and fine-tune our data-entry setup so that everything ran smoothly.

“Supportive guidance, easy fundamentals
Pros
Getting a handle on the system's fundamentals isn't particularly hard and I find the Support Team fantastic at guiding me when needed.
Cons
Personally I find that the pricing for basic needs, upgrades and so on along with the Query Manager are the trickiest parts to get my head around.

This tool is really great and refreshingly simple to use for my team.
Cons
When we're behind on upgrades I often run into support issues. I've also had trouble getting timely responses from the tool's support staff and the sales team but the customer support group is extremely quick to respond with quotes or anything else I need.

Pros
Running different reports is something I genuinely appreciate especially the ability to specify exactly what I need.
Cons
There are too many clicks required to finish tasks. Going back and forth between Enhanced Billing and this tool feels like an unnecessary extra step. I would prefer everything congreatated in one place.
