Pros

The billing and scheduling have been great at helping us become more efficient. The doctors love the voice recognition feature too.

Robust EHR Solution
Pros

It has all the capabilities a small practice like ours needs. The billing feature makes it easy to process payments and manage insurance claims.

Cons

The price is a bit on the expensive side but everything is included in the package.

Solid software
Pros

Our small medical clinic was able to streamline scheduling and billing with Strongbox. We can focus more on patients needs with the software in place.

Pros

The installation time was very minimal and all clinic employees are able to use it without any difficulty.

They could make the user screens more attractive with bigger font sizes.

Pros

It permits us to charge for no-show appointments. The computer program is exceptionally simple to memorize and is exceptionally intuitive

Great Collection Solution
Pros

We started using StrongBox 6 months ago and it has significantly improved our collection rate. The ability to store credit cards on file and create payment plans has reduced the number of bills we send out. The patient is emailed a receipt every time the payment plan installment goes through. No shows have been a problem for us in the past and having a credit card on file that patient knows is available to be charged if they miss an appointment makes it less likely that they will not show for an appointment. They also call ahead if they cant make an appointment because they know they will get charged.

Cons

It would be great if transactions auto posted in our practice management software. This is supposedly going to be available. Overall though it works great.

Improved Collections
Pros

We really like StrongBox. We always had a collections problem because we were not taking payment at the point of service. StrongBox allows us to process credit card transactions and store the credit card in the system. No more sending out bills and chasing down outstanding balances. Any amount due can be charged to the card on file. A lot less of a hassle to get paid. We can also create payment plans. The automated features make sure there are no errors trying to remember to charge the next payment due. We are going to add the StrongBox payment gateway shortly to our website so patients can no pay through our website. They also said a mobile payment app is on the way. We are also starting to use the finance option which is far less expensive than Care Credit. This is a big improvement for our practice.

Cons

We would like to see them interface with more types of practice management platforms. Other than that we are pretty happy.

Revenue Cycle Management and Finance Solution
Pros

We have been very pleased with StrongBox and have been using it in our office now for over a year. StrongBox allows us to store credit cards and financial information in a secure software solution so we can charge the patient for any amounts not reimbursed by insurance. We also use StrongBox to set up payment plans for patients. The software also offers patient financing and this is a great alternative Care Credit at a fraction of the cost. We also like that we are able to get loans approved for patients that Care Credit rejects. Overall this is a great solution for improving the profitability of our practice.

Cons

We really do not have anything to say negative about the Strongbox software. It does what it is supposed to do.

Delivers efficency, profitability and patient alternatives
Pros

StrongBox is a straightforward, PayPal like point of service revenue recognition platform. We migrated from old world credit card terminals to their cloud based solution and it delivered. We were able to offer installment plans for our patients in a PCI compliant manner. The reporting was a big asset to us as well to balance the books and return and refund amounts owed. The emailing of bills was another positive for us and our patients. The patient finance alternative with nearly 30 consumer lenders offered our patients finance alternatives. We also added the patient payment portal to our website and this helped our collection rates even more.

Cons

Graphics (graphs/bar charts) as a reporting tool would be a nice addition.
