“Nextech Dermatology Software is VERY adaptable!!

Pros

With Nextech software changes can be implemented at any time. While there was a learning curve for a less computer-savvy nurse practitioner support from the younger personnel at Nextech guided through the process. Though customization is necessary the system offers limitless possibilities.

Cons

Creating your own stampers is time-consuming. NexTech should provide new dermatologists with basic stampers needed to start their practice right away. Collaboration with existing users could determine the most common stampers. Preprogramming common statements in areas like assessment medication procedure and discussion/education would help new dermatologists get started.

It would be appreciated if NexTech informed us when there is a new update available. Sometimes it is months before we realize we are using an outdated version.
