Great front end product lacks a little on the back end.

Pros

It serves as a comprehensive program from start to finish eliminating the need for additional software. Even beginners find minimal intensive training necessary.

Cons

The support is severely lacking with extended hold times; frequently technicians are unable to resolve issues. Additionally the cloud version does not live up to its expectations.

customer service quite poor.

Pros

The layout is reasonably good.

Cons

Despite only occasionally using specific software features we are obligated to pay the full support fee or opt to discontinue support for that component. Should we decide to resume usage in the future repurchasing the component is necessary even though we've already paid the complete purchase price. This fee structure is unappealing to practices with lower volumes.

Empty promises horrible support and software that is a decade outdated.

Pros

Despite using Nextech for over two years a fully developed EMR remains elusive. Following four days of EMR implementation and paid support promises to fix the system have consistently fallen through. The last on-site visit from Nextech's implementation team focused on cosmetic aspects with the implementation specialist admitting their priority was addressing the system's appearance.

Cons

The system is outdated and isn't receiving updates.

Pros

In my role as Clinical Staff Supervisor regular use of Nextech throughout the workday has streamlined the training aspect of my job. Thanks to Nextech's user-friendly interface even those with minimal EMR experience quickly grasp its use. Navigating through the patient's chart is also straightforward.
