Since the VA launched VistA back in 2019, we’ve been using this EHR to make treatment processes smoother for our honorable vets by automating prescription refills and easily sharing records with other consultants. Plus being free and packed with all the standard features you'd expect from open-source software it really helps us stay within budget.
Cons
The VA should really consider working on the system interface. It’s powerful, sure/checks most of the boxes – but it looks like something from the 90s!
