Pros

There's nothing I like about it, it's very basic and lacks history. As soon as we signed up, I realized it's not true what they say, there's nothing to like.

Cons

The only time I truly enjoyed the experience was when I had the opportunity to speak directly with the representative.

I found it very easy to set up and implement, with excellent support from their team. The verifications were accurate and easy to read.

Due to insurance limitations, I can't access third-party providers.

The onboarding process was extremely personable, detailed yet easy to navigate. Increasing our daily production was the biggest surprise!

It is hard to find something I didn't like so far. My only request has been for personal onboarding contact instead of the online tutorial.

Pros

We used Zuub to verify insurance for patients. Before Zuub, this process was tedious, involving visiting each individual website for verification. Often, we couldn't verify online and had to call the insurance company, ending up on hold for long periods. Switching to Zuub made this previously tedious process much easier!

Zuub is wonderful. We love the insurance verification! If the insurance can't be verified, we contact the patient. The system lets us set how frequently we verify, and we set ours to every 3 days. It gives us a head start.

The information from some insurance companies is very limited, which hampers efficiency.

Pros

We currently use Zuub for the insurance verification process. It has definitely saved us a lot of time on the phone with insurance companies, allowing us to be more present with patients in front of us or on the phone. I can catch if a patient no longer has insurance sooner with the instant verification weeks ahead. The installation was seamless, and everyone was very helpful and responsive when errors occurred.

Cons

I think it would be better to set up a single page for frequencies and history rather than cluttering the patient document center with all the information. We edited our verification process, but the information varies by insurance company. Despite this, Zuub has still saved us significant time for verification.

We love the instant verification and the automated use. It eliminates human write-back errors.

Currently, there's no complete write-back into Open Dental, causing extra work for staff. I know they're working on it, and once it's resolved, my review will improve.

I'd like a feature to search by patient insurance company, name, and DOB, as sometimes patients don't have their sub ID.

This insurance verification process has allowed us to no longer waste 2 of our employees' time and energy waiting on the phone with insurance companies. Being able to refresh and see updates within minutes is game-changing. We're starting to look at new features we can use with Zuub, such as treatment plans and online payments.

So far, there's nothing I dislike. I hope online payments can be written back to our practice management system soon.

I'd appreciate a way to check off when another staff member has worked on a verification that Zuub couldn't verify. I'm thankful my onboarding agent requested this feature.
