The biggest advantage is how flexible the platform is and how much you can tailor it to match your own business requirements and constraints.

Their customer support has been outstanding. I also really like the ad hoc flexibility it gives me to slice and analyze the data exactly how I need. After getting familiar with how the platform works, creating and adjusting things starts to look very user friendly.

There are still a few bugs and some missing capabilities although the team is actively working through them. From what I understand, most of those fixes and feature updates are already lined up in the queue.

It has been an excellent FP&A platform for building reports for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Also it brings much more transparency across departments which improves communication and keeps everyone better aligned with financial goals.

This tool works really well for automated data uploads. The only drawback at the moment is that the version module could use a higher level of automation.

The tool has turned out to be a very capable and user friendly FP&A platform that handles budgeting and reporting really well. The rollout was easy and their support team has been excellent to work with throughout the process. we have connected it with all of our key systems, brought in the data we need, built dashboards they call spaces for leadership and department heads and put a much stronger budgeting process in place.

After a very thorough evaluation process, we're extremely happy we selected this tool. Some competitors tried to raise concerns about part of their team being based in Europe while we're in the US but that hasn't caused any problems whatsoever. If anything the implementation team has been impressively available despite the time difference and must be working some very long hours. We were also told there might be a challenge around writing formulas in the modeling workflow but just like the sales team explained, the formula syntax is user friendly, quick to pick up and hasn't felt burdensome at all. In short we really don't have any concerns with it.

From day one I have found the tool reliable and dependable, with no failures so far and it's very user friendly. The support team has also been extremely helpful whenever needed. Another big plus is how simple it is to customize it around our needs. We use it every day and the implementation was easy, with good integration into our other systems.

Cons

At this point I haven't come across any downsides. I am very happy to have a tool like this that replaces the Excel-based work.

After building a model I can spin up all kinds of scenarios without having to clean the data every time or pull together multiple data sources manually.

Cons

Expanding fields can take a few seconds and when there are lots of dropdown fields, the wait can be a bit longer.

The integrations with QBO and Salesforce have been working really well and the platform saves us a lot of time. It's very easy to use and the implementation team was excellent throughout the whole process. They were supportive and helpful at every single stage of the setup.

It would be even better if they could find a way to support integrations with less common or unfamiliar ERP tools.

Abacum has been a really powerful reporting and analytics tool for us. It has cut down a lot of the time our FP&A team used to spend fixing reports, correcting mistakes and building different reporting views. Also it makes it much easier to dig into our own data in ways that are harder to manage in a standard spreadsheet. The integrations with key data sources work well too especially for a company like ours using Sage Intacct, Salesforce, BambooHR and Google Sheets. Because of that FP&A can now focus far more on analysis and exploration instead of just compiling reports.

Cons

The DataViz options for creating more tailored visualizations especially compared with something like Tableau, feel a bit limited. As a result some of the charts and visuals can end up looking repetitive.

Once the data is in the system, handling the work becomes much more manageable.

There are still a few limitations especially with the PDF-generated views for reporting. Loading budgets or forecasts can also get tricky at times because the mappings become complicated.

Using it is very user friendly and the overall experience is amazing from start to finish.

Well there were a few moments where I wished for more customization options but it was only a small downside. Overall my experience with the FP&A tool has been extremely positive.

Right from day one, Christiane, our Customer Success Manager, has been incredibly responsive and supportive. The platform itself works really well, is simple to navigate and the team is consistently available to help and make updates to the product when needed.

From implementation the results were excellent. The setup moved really fast and connecting it with our existing tools was easy. It's very user friendly and with the help of their amazing customer support, you can build pretty much any metric you need. We use it every single day.

Working with their team has been excellent as it's honestly been the best implementation experience I have had with any tool. I also really like how customizable the platform is. After getting familiar with the core building blocks, it's quick to get up and running. Even without any prior experience using an FP&A tool, it felt very user friendly. The spaces and subspaces are also a big plus for end users since they can access the outputs they need to make informed decisions without having to dig through the full model.

Cons

There really isn't much I dislike. I have shared a few product suggestions with them and they said they passed them along to the team. For example automatic data refresh works for most data sources but we have one unique model with future data that I still need to update manually each week.
