Accolent Features
Landed Cost Tracking
Accolent automates the complex calculation of landed costs, allowing distributors to include freight, insurance, duties, and other fees into the total cost of an item. This ensures that margin reports reflect the true profitability of imported goods, preventing revenue leakage from unaccounted expenses in the supply chain.
Wireless Warehouse Management (WMS)
The system includes a fully integrated Wireless WMS that utilizes barcode scanning to streamline picking, packing, and shipping processes. This feature reduces manual errors in the warehouse, improves order fulfillment speed, and provides real-time updates to inventory levels as goods move in and out of the facility.
Accounting Ledger
The software eliminates the need for separate accounting software by integrating a full GAAP-compliant general ledger directly with operational modules. Every inventory transaction, sales order, or purchase receipt automatically updates the financial records in real-time, ensuring that the finance team always has an accurate view of cash flow and assets.
Bill Of Materials (BOM)
This feature caters to light manufacturers by supporting unlimited levels of nested BOM and tracking Work-in-Process (WIP) inventory throughout the production cycle. It allows businesses to assign differing valuations to WIP, create finished products in any unit of measure, and manage both finished and unfinished kits to bundle products effectively.
