“Asset reports that deliver”

Pros

After using software in this field for around 30 years, I can say this is one of the more polished tool tracking systems I've worked with. I found the current Enterprise version easy to set up and it didn't take much effort for me to train others because the interface is very user-friendly. The feature I rely on most is the asset tracking along with the location reports. It has made managing a large inventory of tools, furniture and equipment much more manageable for me. Whenever I need to, I can generate a report showing all of our equipment and where it is located and that helps me produce accurate equipment billing.

Cons

My only real complaint has been the data loss that happened over the years during software updates and data migrations. I've lost quite a bit of information especially purchase dates and purchase costs for items that had already been entered into the system. It's not a major issue overall but it is frustrating when I look up an item and expect to see what it cost or when it was purchased, only to find those fields blank. Other than that, this is my only con.

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this software, in my experience, is how many different areas it covers. I always feel there's another part of the platform that can be useful for the business so it offers a lot of ways to support different needs across the company.

Cons

At times, the software feels a bit limited because you end up having to adjust your company's processes to match how the system works, instead of being able to tailor the software more naturally to fit the way your business already operates.

It can handle just about anything I need it to do.

Cons

My biggest frustration is that moving tools through the app isn't as simple or easy as it should be. Also, while the database setup makes it very powerful, it leaves too much room for inconsistent data entry. A more structured input system would go a long way toward keeping tool data standardized across different users.

In my experience, the application is very easy to get started with and I find training new employees doesn't take much time at all.

Cons

One thing it's missing is email notifications for the main user when tool or asset requests are submitted and when count tickets are completed.

Pros

The bar coding and Tool Watch reporting have been really valuable for me and I've found the customer service excellent whenever needed.

Cons

At times, the updates can be a bit slow and there's definitely more value to get from the training library.

Pros

The mobile app is the part I appreciate most about this software. I find it easy and simple to use.

Cons

Desktop version feels a little more complicated. Adding new items there isn't as easy as it is on the mobile app.

Pros

One of the biggest benefits for our company has been the visibility and control it gives us over equipment, tools and materials out on jobs. Before this, I found the whole process pretty loose and unreliable and the rates were often outdated or inconsistent from one year to the next. Now it has given us the level of control we were missing.

Cons

Toughest part on our end was building an Org Tree that actually worked well in practice. We didn't fully realize at first how much that would affect everything further down the line. We did ask the implementation manager for guidance but the support we got wasn't as helpful as we hoped. I'd also really like to see some improvements to the it300 integration.

Pros

In my experience, getting everything implemented was pretty easy and fairly simple overall. I found the support team excellent to work with and they helped ensure our data was formatted correctly which made the transition much easier.

Cons

A few of the reporting features still have room for improvement but they've been very receptive when it comes to change requests and upgrading features.

Using this software day to day is very easy and I find it just as simple in regular use. I would definitely recommend it to any business that needs a reliable way to manage equipment and materials.

Some issues but they've either already been addressed or are currently being worked on.

Pros

Keeping track of tools and machines assigned to workers has become much better with this product. It gives me clear documentation showing who is responsible for each tool and the exact location where it will be used which is exactly what I needed. The presentation is very good and everything feels well organized.

Cons

At times, the interface runs into network issues that slow the product down and I hope future updates will fix that. Even with that challenge, it has helped our company maintain a comprehensive record of all our tools, materials and machines.
