Pros
System has a lot of useful functionality and when I've set it up and used it the right way, it really helps simplify my day-to-day work.
Cons
The reporting tools could definitely be more customizable. I'd like to be able to work with and adjust the data I enter more freely without having to reach out to support just to create custom reports. It would also be better if additional automation options were available without such a high extra cost.

Platform keeps getting more modern and user-friendly in my view. It already offers a lot of features and capabilities and I can see even more are on the way soon.
Cons
No system is perfect and this one has its limitations too but most of them can be worked around. In many cases, internal processes need to adapt to the system instead of expecting the system to be reshaped for every user or company. When something isn't available out of the box, changes can still be made to meet the need.

One feature that's been especially valuable for us is the data audit trail. I've also found the integration with other tools has worked really well especially with its CRM.
Cons
The pricing setup feels a bit clunky. Some of that comes from how our company uses the pricing structure but it still makes it difficult to see all pricing in one place regardless of the type. Having separate price books makes pulling pricing together a little tough. The quoting system also feels slightly awkward. Again, part of that is tied to how we use the pricing feature but I still think there's room to improve it.

Being purpose-built for chemical distributors and manufacturers is a huge advantage in our case. I find the software not only helps us run the business effectively but it also supports us in staying compliant with the relevant government regulations.
Cons
One thing that would improve it is giving existing customers a chance to provide feedback or suggestions on the screen layouts in the .NET version. A few of the screens are hard to navigate, scroll through and view all of the needed information at once.

Accounting module has been working really well for us and I've also found the manufacturing, inventory and order entry modules have performed nicely. On top of that, I experienced the implementation process as fairly simple and quite smooth.
Cons
Where this software falls short is in production planning which still is not developed enough to be usable for our needs. The preventive maintenance module is also extremely basic and the standard system reports are not very user-friendly, with output that still lacks proper validation for accuracy and consistency.

This latest VB.Net version has come a long way over the years and has made my work much more efficient. Everything I need is right at my fingertips and I find the interface very simple to use. The Help Menu and University resources are both excellent and have been incredibly useful for our teams.
Cons
One downside is that if you are not using SQL, the system can slow down and throw errors when there is a large amount of historical data.

Running both the manufacturing and distribution sides of our business is much easier for us with this system because it covers everything we need in one place. It handles both parts of our operation really well which has made it a strong fit for how our company works.

For me it is easy to use and using it day to day doesn't take much effort. New features are also released to customers regularly without any added cost which is a nice bonus.
Cons
Customer support is very helpful but it's only available during Eastern Time business hours. The inventory management features also aren't especially simple so there can be a bit of a learning curve before they feel comfortable to use.

For more than 16 years, the team behind it has supported TLC in running our business and the level of integration we've built with the system has been essential to our ongoing improvement and long-term growth. We usually have one or two initiatives in progress with it because we're always looking for ways to get even more value out of the platform than we already do. Pros
For a small to mid-sized company, the overall software package is fairly great. It covers roughly 80% of our daily manufacturing work. We can manage the full process in one system, from formulation through final invoicing and even shipping. It doesn't handle every part especially well but the fact is that all of it can be done within the software.
Cons
The biggest issue has been the lack of updates to the underlying database which hasn't been refreshed in about 10 years, not even with a patch. More recently though, the more serious problem is that they've decided on their own that older licensing agreements no longer count because of features they say have been added over time and they've pushed customers onto a new licensing model. That has meant reducing user licenses from 400 down to 20 equivalent new licenses, while also doubling or even tripling the price of those new licenses. Supposedly this is meant to support new products that still haven't been released even though they were expected a year ago. If you want a vendor that respects signed agreements, I'd strongly suggest looking at a different product.

Pros
I've found that customer service team is patient and takes the time to address every concern. Their technical support staff also knows the product and its features extremely well which makes installation and implementation much easier to handle properly.
Cons
I wouldn't really consider this a downside but since we're planning to buy a new server, we're hoping the cost will be lower instead of paying the same amount as we did on our last purchase.
