“versatile polling for class”
Pros
Using it feels quick and easy for me and I find the range of question types for polling very useful. I also appreciate the anonymous mode because it encourages more honest responses especially for sensitive topics.
Cons
My only real concern is that the tool itself can sometimes become more of a distraction than an actual benefit for students.

“fun classroom engagement tool”
Pros
Back in college, I used this all the time and I found it consistently did exactly what it was supposed to do. I also enjoyed how it made class participation more engaging for everyone.
Cons
Every now and then, it had trouble registering clicks properly and getting the iClicker set up in the beginning was a little confusing.

“best pick for classroom polling”
Pros
During my undergraduate studies, I relied on it to track attendance and manage in-class participation and I never ran into technical issues with it. In my experience, it stands out as one of the best classroom polling tools available and I would confidently recommend it to any instructor considering this kind of technology.
Cons
There really aren't any major downsides that come to mind. The only minor issue is that when several professors are using the platform, students need to be on the correct channel or their participation won't be recorded. Still, that's very simple to verify and correct if someone ends up in the wrong place.

“reliable tool that lasts”
Pros
After four years of using this device, I've found it to be dependable and easy to use. I keep it in my backpack and use it whenever needed and I've noticed it holds up well even with regular movement. The battery life has been strong in my experience and I always feel confident that my responses are properly submitted.
Cons
Switching the response frequency for different classes, like changing from AA to AB, was kind of a hassle even though I understand why that setup is necessary. A few times I forgot to switch it and I ended up losing attendance points for a lecture which was frustrating even if it was ultimately my own fault.

“instant quiz feedback delight”
Pros
Using this software daily for in-class quizzes has been very convenient for me and I really appreciate how simple it is to use. I also like that results appear instantly with immediate feedback.
Cons
One thing I liked least is not having access to the data afterward so I can't go back and review the questions I got wrong.

“quick setup and simple controls”
Pros
Getting started with it is fast and simple in my experience. I just join using a room code and I find the remote controls easy to use.
Cons
One downside is that the older remotes don't include screens which can leave some students at a disadvantage. The software also had a tendency to crash.

“all-in-one classroom helper”
Pros
In my classroom, I use this to encourage student participation through interactive questions and I also rely on it for attendance. I find it works well as an all-in-one classroom tool.
Cons
You might need to adjust the frequency settings so other people using it can align with your system. The software also doesn't really give reminders.

“versatile quizzes and surveys”
Pros
One thing that really stands out to me is the variety of question types available. I've used it both as a learning tool for quizzes and as a simple voting system for surveys and I find both uses very effective.
Cons
The software is fine overall but the clickers are a bit pricey since each participant needs their own device to take part.

“Limited and expensive”
Pros
From my experience, there are several ways to interact with students through this platform. I've found the remotes reliable but I also feel they are expensive compared to their limitations and I personally prefer the app-based participation options.
Cons
Remote offers very limited functionality which is disappointing given the price. For a product that costs this much, I expected more than just a handful of buttons for submitting responses.

“engaging real time learning”
Pros
In my experience, it keeps students more engaged during class and helps reinforce key concepts effectively. I also find it useful for checking understanding in real time.
Cons
It can be somewhat costly for students since each person needs to buy their own clicker for class. It's also limited to multiple-choice responses so there's no option to enter free-response answers.

Pros
In my microbiology class, I've found this software fantastic because my teacher uses it to quickly check how many students understand the material after teaching and it works really well for that purpose.

“Flexible classroom assessment”
Pros
Using this with a large class has been a very effective way for me to check everyone's understanding and I honestly find it a better option than Kahoot. I also really appreciate that it supports different question types, including multiple choice and short answer which makes it more flexible for me.
Cons
Downside is that stopping the lecture so everyone can vote cuts into class time and it also takes extra time and effort for students to reconnect and submit their responses.

Pros
From my experience, classes feel much more interactive between students and teachers when this is used and I genuinely believe it improves the overall learning experience and adds more value during lectures.

“affordable software”
Pros
Using this in the classroom was a really positive experience for me. I found the technology affordable and simple for both students and professors and it helped make class sessions more interactive. I also found it useful for reviewing potential test questions and encouraging discussion and collaboration.
Cons
In classes with hundreds of students, only a small number of clickers seemed to stop working. That may have been related to battery life.
