Pros
I first came across Mygate while visiting my cousin’s gated community. Their entry process was smooth, and residents were paying maintenance directly via the app. I convinced my RWA to try a demo, and within a week, we signed up. Today, we’ve been using it for over a year, and there’s no going back. Mygate is leagues ahead of NBH or Adda.

Some users report difficulty in exporting data or syncing with existing tools.

Cons
Although the tool is easy to use, it is dependent on residents regularly using the app for repair requests. Also, I think additional advanced tools for complex maintenance could be useful in the future.

“Reliable solution
Pros
One of the best things about MyGate is how easily I can approve or reject visitors right from my phone when they arrive at the main gate. You even get to see their photo and why they are there. For regular visitors, you can set up automatic entry which saves time. Also managing tenants is super simple as you can upload all their info like names and ID details, so the society committee always stays in the loop. And it makes everything secure and smooth and it is very affordable for all the features you get. Overall it is a smart, all in one solution that really improves community living.
Cons
There are two major issues with it. First even if I reject a visitor through the app, they can still get in and show up at your door because the guards at the gate do not see the rejection alert. That defeats the whole purpose and is really frustrating. Second their customer support is slow and they take too long to act on feedback. For a security app especially in communities with kids and elderly residents they really need to respond faster and take concerns more seriously.

Pros
It is a highly professional app for managing society dues, submitting service complaints, managing gate entries and ensuring security. Also I like that it offers a great social connection feature allowing users to send queries to neighbors, receive responses, access professional services and post notices.
Cons
There are too many ads most of which are about other properties they manage. Since this is an essential services app, you cannot disable notifications so you get bombarded multiple times a day which I find annoying.

The security at the gate sending a request for entry approval was a game-changer as it helps me keep unwanted people, like salespeople, out.
Cons
Paying for maintenance through the app comes with a small fee whereas a bank transfer does not have any extra charges. Paying via credit card was particularly painful! I understand that the credit card processing companies charge those fees and they are just passing them on.
