Automated marketplace operations hub

Pros

Bringing multiple marketplaces together in one system is a huge advantage. A lot of workflows can be automated very simply which makes day-to-day work much more efficient. The shipping module is simple and easy for employees to understand and the data log is very helpful when it comes to quickly identifying problems. On top of that, the program can be expanded really well with plug-ins.

Cons

Newly released features are often not fully developed or properly tested yet. Support through the forum can be slow when it comes to specific individual issues and some plug-ins do not always work correctly.

Cloud based commerce solution

Pros

Because it runs in the cloud, the software is basically ready to use right away. Over the last three years, it has received a lot of updates and new features. The rebuilt in-house shop system in particular now offers plenty of options for users who do not have programming knowledge. Whenever help is needed, the Plenty support forum gives access to both the Plenty team and the community. On top of that, there are certified agencies and service providers that offer training, programming and support. One of Plenty's biggest strengths is the large number of marketplace connections already built into the system, including Amazon, eBay, Hood, Otto and more. Importing and exporting data has also become very simple thanks to ElasticSync and ElasticImport. The marketplace additionally offers both free and paid extensions and plugins. Pricing feels very fair, especially considering how many features are already included.

Cons

Developer support in English could be faster. It would also help a lot to have significantly more YouTube tutorials aimed at developers. That makes the learning curve steeper, especially for non-German-speaking users. Still, because the system is so extensive, that is not really something I would treat as a major downside.

Cons

The reporting options feel a bit limited and it can sometimes be hard to pull the exact data you need.
