Powerful and highly customizable

Pros

Extremely powerful and flexible enough to be tailored to just about any printer's needs.

Cons

It isn't the most user-friendly system but I've noticed that simpler platforms usually come with more limitations. PV has almost no limitations at all. If you can think it up, you can build it. The licensing is also much more complicated than it really needs to be.

Wide range of features

Pros

The program offers a wide range of features that line up well with our internal requirements. The downside is that we ended up with a very poor reseller whose knowledge was quite limited and who lacked the resources to support us properly so they were not able to follow through on what they promised.

Cons

Training and implementation were very challenging. The whole methodology felt complex and awkward, with too many moving parts involved. It's possible that a lot of these problems came down to the reseller's capabilities and lack of resources.

Complete solution

Pros

Right from creating a quote through to the final invoice and financials, the software feels like one complete and consistent system. The way it shows calculations and costing inside each case makes it feel dependable and trustworthy and it's simple to make adjustments when you want to fine-tune the outcome.

Cons

The job ticket it produces feels buggy and dated compared with the rest of the platform. The interface is also a bit too plain and could use more creativity to make it feel friendlier and more user-friendly to use.
