“modular project management powerhouse”
Pros
It's built as a modular platform, with different components that cover pretty much every part of project management. The part I appreciate most is how tightly it connects with the finance side, letting me generate purchase orders, quotes, customer invoices and supplier invoices with just a click.
Cons
There are multiple ways to install the software. When I first used it a while back, the setup and configuration felt fairly complicated but the support team was excellent and helped us whenever we needed it.

“flexible project control powerhouse”
Pros
People often assume open-source tools depend entirely on community contributions but I've seen this one clearly handle project execution in several effective ways. It supports work packages, financial oversight, risk visibility and action planning with fully controlled scheduling. To me, it feels like a complete project management solution that is flexible, scalable and well suited for different kinds of projects.
Cons
Looking at it from a broad point of view, the usual concern with open-source software is that security and support are not always guaranteed because many of these products are maintained by volunteers. That said I can't really count that as a true downside here since it has performed very effectively across the different projects I've used it for.

“feature-packed and customizable”
Pros
Accessing the community edition at no cost is fantastic for me. This software comes with far more functionality than I expected for the price and I found the setup process easy. It's also simple to tailor and brand it so it fits my organization really well.
Cons
One downside is that the software includes a lot more features than we anticipated. Since we only needed the Project Management package, all the extra tools made things feel a bit cluttered and confusing at first. After spending some time customizing it, though, the layout became much more organized.

“data control aligned fast”
Pros
Starting out with Book was easy for me and it has genuinely helped us align our data control. I really feel we should have made the switch much sooner.
Cons
Issue wasn't with the product itself but with the implementation phase when moving from the old system to the new one.

“candidate sorting that delivers”
Pros
Sorting, reviewing and automating the whole process is really easy for me. The feature set is something I genuinely enjoy and scoring candidates has become much simpler than before. I also find it very useful that I can upload my own documents directly to each candidate's profile.
Cons
The part I wasn't happy with was the initial setup because of the one-time fee. It's meant to cover setup, integration, three one-on-one training sessions and full implementation. Since I'm pretty self-sufficient, I really didn't need that much training, just a few questions here and there. During my trial, I actually set up the entire system on my own and while she did offer some suggestions during training, it wasn't much beyond what I already knew. None of my old data was integrated and I even had to remind them to set up the careers page. To be fair, the woman helping me was very responsive and genuinely helpful but for the price, I don't think it was worth it. If you're someone who doesn't need much training, that upfront cost just doesn't make sense.

“useful features and quick setup”
Pros
Setting this up was simple for me and the configuration process was easy as well. It also comes with a lot of useful features which makes the software quite practical overall.
Cons
On the downside, the code is very complex if you need to modify it. Also some of the features still feel incomplete and not fully developed.
