convenient registration but dated interface

Pros

Entering sessions and courses is pleasantly easy in my experience. I've found the registration process simple to use and I also appreciate being able to customize confirmations for each session. I find the aligned design especially helpful when training new employees.

Cons

To get information to display correctly on our website, we still have to use some HTML coding which adds unnecessary hassle. Clients also can't register multiple people or multiple sessions in a single transaction so they end up having to complete several separate purchases which gets tedious. On top of that, the overall design feels outdated.

Helpful data all in one place

Pros

Most of the information I need is available within this system which I find very useful for my day-to-day work.

Cons

A few features need extra support to be tailored to our specific needs and even then they do not always function the way we want. The system is also slow and it frequently freezes so it has to be closed and reopened. Another issue is the field abbreviations. The coding is not very simple or consistent and there can be several abbreviations for the same field. That makes things confusing and leaves too much room for trial and error when trying to confirm that I am pulling the right information.

excellent classroom management platform

Pros

Right from the start, I've found this system very user-friendly and I rely on it for classroom management and registration tools. Having used it for more than twenty years, I'm extremely satisfied with how well it works for me.

Cons

Over the years, we've had some specific customization requests and the staff has always been responsive in helping us meet those needs.

Friendly platform and stellar support

Pros

Using it has been very user-friendly for me from the start. I've also had a great experience with the customer service team and I find their technician knowledgeable, responsive and helpful whenever I need support.

Cons

The only thing we'd really like to see is a more powerful CRM function built directly into the system.

Pros

Once I create and save a report, I find it very convenient that I can access it anytime I need it.

Cons

highly adaptable and full-featured tool

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this software, in my experience, is how customizable it is. I find it easy to adjust settings, add fields and track detailed information for courses, students and payments and most changes can be done without needing technical support.

Cons

I really cannot point to any true downsides. The few issues I have run into were more related to my own limited knowledge of the system or the lack of additional technology resources within my organization. With the right training and proper organizational support, I believe this product can be configured to handle everything I need.

Student rosters made simple

Pros

Keeping track of student rosters and details is really easy for me with this software.

Cons

At first, using it can be a bit tricky but after using it for a while, it starts to feel like second nature.

packed with useful modules

Pros

After purchasing Pocket Ledger, AceWeb and the email module, I've found that I have a lot of useful features that support how I manage my program.

Cons

My program is very small and registrations keep going down so it has become difficult to stay current with the yearly service agreement even though I really want to keep that support available. Because of that, I am still using the older platform. I know this tool keeps releasing updates and I really dislike missing out on those improvements.

interactive website and rich features

Pros

More time we spend with the software and its training webinars, the more tools and capabilities we keep uncovering that we did not even realize this tool included. It completely transformed our website into something far more interactive, with plenty of photos, video highlights, YouTube links, connections to other pages and instructor bios with headshots so students can look them over before registering. Support has also been outstanding, Jason always gets back to us within 24 hours whenever we have a question or need help. I also attended the User Conference this spring and came back with a lot of useful ideas and time-saving tips. The live and archived webinars are incredibly convenient and I am excited to start applying the shortcuts and improvements I have picked up from them.

Cons

Honestly nothing comes to mind.

Flexible reports and custom portals

Pros

There's a lot I can do with this tool when it comes to names, registrations, courses, rosters, receipts, payments and just about any other data I store in the system. Whatever information goes in can usually be pulled back out through reporting which has been really valuable. It also supports multiple interfaces which helps a lot when different program areas have different needs. If one program follows its own policies or cancellation rules, you can give it a separate online interface and tailor it to match that program's specific requirements.

Cons

Our organization recently moved from the FoxPro version of the registration system to the SQL version and the transition has brought a few issues along the way. That said the problems have all been fixable and we're making great progress toward getting everything fully up and running the way it should.

Customizable modules and stellar support

Pros

Being able to buy the modules individually is a big plus since I only pay for the pieces I actually need. The team has been outstanding and their customer service reps do an excellent job walking you through any questions that come up. It's a very capable course registration system that works well for different types of organizations and it's clear they keep putting effort into improving both its features and how it performs.

Cons

The price can feel a little high at first but it ends up being worth it when you can call their team, get help over the phone and have the issue resolved quickly.
