Cons

Using this has been very easy for me thanks to the user-friendly design and overall ease of use. I find the drill-down feature works really well and the ability to create groups across multiple levels is very helpful. I also appreciate how flexible the chart of accounts is especially with the codeless setup.
Cons
Weaker areas are scalability when it comes to more demanding, hardcore ERP-level performance and the mobile version could be more effective.

Having worked with this software for about 25 years, I still find the voucher and account functions familiar and convenient to use especially in version 9 (6.3.3) and older releases. Since I have been using the same software for so long, it continues to feel like a better fit for my routine work.
Cons
Since moving to the newer Tally features, the software has had many problems and often does not work properly. It keeps requiring Tally support and even the Tally partner is unable to provide much help.

Pros
Running accounting through this software has been very effective for me from both a business and auditor point of view. It connects well with GST return filing, income tax and several other related functions. The biggest advantage for me is the inventory management, along with salesman-wise sales tracking and commission calculation which makes my day-to-day work much more manageable.
Cons
One thing I'd recommend is improving report generation in Prime. It used to be much simpler in ERP but in Prime it feels a bit more complicated and takes extra time especially when working with GST reports.

Running everything through this software has noticeably improved our overall efficiency and productivity. The automated accounting tools save a lot of time, real-time access to financial data is incredibly helpful and the pricing is more affordable than many other options out there. It also allows customization based on specific business needs, integrates well with other business software and the availability of Tally training and support whenever needed is a big plus. On top of that, the inventory management features are genuinely impressive.
Cons
The interface does feel a little outdated compared to other products on the market and the feature set is somewhat more limited than some competing solutions.

This tool is much simpler to understand and it makes recording transactions a lot more manageable for me. The shortcuts and predefined letters really help speed up my work and its integration with other software makes it a strong choice for tax computation and financial reporting.
Cons
Interface feels old-fashioned and a bit limited. There are still quite a few areas where the software could improve but updates do not come very frequently. It also gets hard to handle when entering bulk entries at the same time especially if you are not familiar with how the system works internally.

Compared with the previous version I used, I find this one a much better upgrade. It's simple to use and the detail export options are available throughout which makes my work more convenient. In the older version, purchase order narration was missing but in this version that option is available and I see that as a big improvement.

Honestly I don't find anything in this tool worth liking from my experience. I used to enjoy the earlier Tally versions a lot because I found them user-friendly, comfortable to work with and very reliable for accounting and reports but this version feels disappointing.
Cons
After working with Tally since version 5.4 for the last 16 to 17 years, this feels like the worst update in its history. I have no idea who developed Tally 3.0 but it's a terrible release. Reports are not matching properly, GST 3B and trial balance show major differences, quantity details like UQC are not updated and the problems just keep going.

One thing that really helps me is the use of shortcut keys for reporting, voucher entry, modification, alteration and bank reconciliation. It also handles tax reporting and other statutory reports well and I find MIS reports can be generated exactly the way management wants. Payroll is included too which makes this accounting software even more useful for me.
Cons
Customer support is relatively weak and the extra charges for customization are something that should ideally be avoided.

Great tool for me, it's a standard accounting software that handles reporting and invoicing well for regular day-to-day use.
Cons
A few things still need improvement, reports can't be emailed with a one-time setup, the current date has to be entered manually every day for voucher entries and when exporting reports, all of them show the same name as accounting voucher. It would also help to have more invoice layout options. Free WhatsApp add-ons with TDL renewal would be useful and GST reports 2A and 2B should have online comparison support.
