“Highly customizable business solution”
Pros
Customization is a big plus for me and I find it handles exactly what the company needs it to do.
Cons
At times, though, that level of customization seems to come with limited support assistance.

“Expensive, complex, poor support system”
Pros
There is a huge amount of configurability available and I have seen that with the support of a full development team and subject matter experts, it can be tailored very effectively.
Cons
Support is usually about a 2/10 and too often the staff simply doesn't know the answers to basic questions. When issues reach that point, they tend to just shrug and close the ticket. We were pushed into adopting a half-baked cloud version that felt like a major step backward in performance, while costing five times more than what we were paying for the on-prem setup. Trimble is the parent company and we use other software from them for different purposes but this product is by far the worst. Unless you have a very large dev team, 5,000 extra labor hours and a huge budget, it's hard to see the value. Even then, the onboarding can take anywhere from 30 to 1,600 days and by the last 90% of the engagement you'll be deep into time-and-materials billing.

“Multi company reporting access tool”
Pros
Moving between companies is really easy for me and I especially appreciate being able to pull reports from any company without switching first.
Cons
It's generally pretty stable but they tend to run into issues during updates and that's been our biggest complaint.

“Strong job cost management system”

It works really well for project managers and accounting teams and I find it especially useful when keeping a close eye on job costs.

“data entry limitations”
Pros
There are plenty of features available and I appreciate having everything grouped together in one place.
Cons
Working through forms and records feels unnecessarily tedious. The software is very limited about how fields have to be completed and if something isn't entered exactly the way it expects, it pushes back. More than once, an entire record can be lost after filling it all out just because one field was missing or entered incorrectly.

“tough system needs training”
Pros
The forecasting features and PM tools have been valuable for our team and I have seen their impact on planning. That said I find the program not very simple so it does require proper training to use effectively. I believe many users, including our staff, could benefit more from it with better training.
Cons
There are too many programs and modules included that we never actually use and some of them feel repetitive. For someone new, it's not clear where to begin. It would really help to have better structured training paths, like separate training for PMs, AR, AP and other roles.

“Customizable project financial platform”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits for us has been how well it can be tailored to match our company structure and specific project requirements and I find the project financial management features extremely valuable to our workflow.
Cons
I'd still like to see more options available for equipment management.

“Paperless construction project management tool”
Pros
Running construction projects electronically is much more practical for me with this system. I find it very useful for managing documents, reducing reliance on paper and making it easier to organize both projects and teams.
Cons
Interface could use some improvement since it can take a bit of time and quite a few clicks to get to a specific section or location.

“hard to find reports system”
Pros
Being able to create my own task list for frequently used items is a really useful feature that I rely on regularly.
Cons
Finding reports can be frustrating unless you already know the exact report name or where it's located. It would be much better if there were a way to run a more targeted search.

“great accounting backend system”
Pros
The accounting back end is great and very powerful and I find the customization options especially valuable.
Cons
It's not especially user-friendly for anyone without an accounting background. Support and maintenance fees go up significantly every year even when the software and support pricing for new customers may not rise the same way. Once they have you as a customer, they seem to count on the fact that switching isn't simple so the costs just keep climbing year after year. The longer you stay with them, the more you end up paying compared to a new customer. Support has dropped off sharply since the original Bain Capital buyout and hasn't improved much through the more recent ownership changes. There was a time when a callback came quickly, usually within 24 hours at most, no matter the issue. Now we mostly solve problems ourselves and come up with our own workarounds. We also used to install new releases without much concern because bugs were usually minor but now we avoid the latest versions until they've been out for a while.

“All-in-one customizable ERP”
Pros
It covers just about every part of the business in one place which has been very valuable for us and I find the system reliable and well established. It feels like a complete package and I appreciate the flexibility it gives when adjustments are needed. Since we customize a lot, I have seen it handle that very well.
Cons
As we keep adding more demands to it, the system naturally becomes more complicated to manage. There are plenty of options included that we do not really use or need even though I can see how other teams might appreciate them. I am also not very impressed with the form search feature. Most advanced users seem to recommend using the GRID search instead because the form search tends to come with too many problems.

“Simple workflow”
Pros
One thing that really works well for me is the My Tasks feature since it allows me to arrange the menu in a way that fits my workflow. I also find the main menu well organized and the primary AP and AR screens are easy to navigate.
Cons
Help section is frustrating to use when you need answers. You have to search with exactly the right words or phrases and even then it often does not give a clear answer or simple step-by-step instructions for what you are trying to do. In AP invoice entry, a system update now allows an invoice to be entered above a subcontract or purchase order amount and sent to the PM for approval. It still will not interface into the system but now several people can end up wasting time on an invoice that previously would have been stopped at entry. Setting up T&M templates is also a headache and the help section does not make that process any easier.

“Integrated project accounting”
Pros
Having both project management and accounting in one ERP is a big plus for me and I find the work centers helpful for managing item-based workflows. The quick keys like F3, F4 and F5 also make my daily tasks faster and more convenient.
Cons
SM module feels like an add-on that doesn't integrate well with the rest of the system. It also seems to go without updates which is frustrating. On top of that, customer service has been disappointing, chat support is usually not very helpful and support cases often don't get answered in a timely manner.

“Highly customizable”
Pros
The standout feature for me is how customizable it is and I have been able to build various custom reports that improve efficiency and present information exactly the way I need.
Cons
One frustration is that some updates feel like they're released before being fully tested. At times, a new update ends up causing more issues than it resolves and then users are left waiting for this tool to address the new problems.
