All product data in one place

Pros

I love having everything in one place, it has been a big advantage for us.. Wiith all product images, details and data stored together. The critical path tracking helps us spot production delays much earlier that gives us time to respond and put a solution in place. WFX also connects very easily with our current system, Netsuite. Since we work in a hybrid environment at Spell, being on a cloud-based platform instead of relying on server access means updates happen in real time without delays or complications.

Cons

One thing I would still like is the ability to scroll and freeze the T & A cockpit.

fantastic support

Pros

It manages to feel very simple while still offering a lot of depth that made it possible for us to adopt the PLM gradually by adding new features and processes over time. That simplicity was a huge help during the transition of our company workflows. The biggest advantage though, has been the WFX team and the quality of support they provide. We've worked with several PMs and AMs over the years andevery one of them has been excellent. Since WFX includes a huge amount of functionality, having such strong support has been incredibly valuable when it comes to discussing industry best practices and choosing the right implementation path for our business.

Cons

Honestly, there isn't much to complain about. Most of the concerns we had at the beginning have already been resolved and the company is also very responsive when it comes to adding functionality or fixing problem areas.

It keep everything organized

Pros

Having comments and photos in there makes it much clearer to communicate direction to manufacturers. Keeping all the information stored within each item also makes it really convenient to refer back to things from one season to the next. The B.O.M is helpful as well as it lists all the required components in one place for quick reference and procurement.

Cons

A limitation is that small icon item views cant be seen across more than one Collection. It also doesn't let me capture cost at the item level by colour or style. Another frustration is the lack of a screen view for care instructions so I have to keep going through the select-and-print process just to confirm I've chosen the correct option.

Visual planning that fits us

Pros

At our current stage and size, this software has been a really good fit because it gives us what we need without weighing the team down with a lot of unnecessary features. It's highly customizable and their team has been flexible when it comes to configuration. The visual layout also helps us plan our ranges more efficiently and the option to export data easily has been very valuable.

Cons

The T&A critical path function feels awkward as its fairly dated and doesn't seem designed to handle large volumes of SKUs very well. We'd also really like stronger options for exporting or viewing data at the color level instead of only within collections.

very easy to use

Pros

Compared with many complicated applications, this one feels very user friendly and simple to use. In any business, communication is critical and it does a strong job of managing both internal and external communication while also supporting supplier collaboration. Applications like the Quality app deliver results on the fly that helps speed up decision-making and execution. The ERP integration was also quite smooth.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind though like any software, it does have its own limitations.

Responsive support

Pros

One of the best parts of this system is how well it can be tailored to our business. The support team has been fantastic,, we're able to get training whenever we need it andif we ask for specific reports, those requests are handled quickly. I also really appreciate that the system keeps becoming more user-friendly and continues to evolve around how we actually use it.

Cons

At the beginning some reports were harder to run the way we needed but whenever we brought it up, it was always addressed.
