“clear fees and no contracts”
Pros
One thing that really works for me is how low and transparent the fees are so there's no second-guessing or unexpected charges popping up later. I also appreciate that there are no contracts involved. If it doesn't end up being the right fit, you can walk away without being locked in.
Cons
There is a $99 start-up fee. It's fairly modest but it still means paying something upfront. If the software turns out to be a good fit, then it feels worth the cost.

“friendly support and simple onboarding”
Pros
From day one, the customer support has been excellent and the software is very easy to use. Getting started was also simple thanks to the help and guidance from their representative during onboarding.
Cons
At the beginning, the payment terminal did not include a POS but I still decided to sign up. Since then, they have added the POS feature so that issue has now been resolved.

“Tap-to-pay convenience on the go”
Pros
Paying is very convenient for clients since they can tap their card or phone which works especially well when I'm in the vehicle. Transactions get approved right away and being able to print a receipt instantly is a big plus.
Cons
The downside is the lack of signal in some mobile areas. A lot of my jobs end at the airport and the signal is usually very weak in the undercover drop-off zone which can be frustrating.

“clear screen and helpful alerts”
Pros
Using the reader has been very easy and the large text on the screen makes it simple for both me and my customers to read and confirm everything before paying. The approval and rejection sounds are also really useful and clear.
Cons
Battery life is limited to around 140 transactions in a day before it needs charging. Also, if the machine gets dropped, the printer roller can come loose.

“Xero sync and tap to pay”
Pros
Running my photography business, Ina J Photography, with this has been a really positive experience. The platform is easy to use and I was even able to negotiate the service fee which was a nice bonus. The Xero integration is especially helpful because it makes reconciliation much simpler. Having the app is another big plus and being able to use my iPhone for tap to pay is super convenient. Customer support has also been excellent whenever I've needed help. On top of that, I appreciate being able to have bank accounts with no foreign transaction fees.
Cons
Refunds can be a little tricky when settlements are sent directly to your bank account instead of being kept within the platform so that part feels more complicated than it should. That said customer support was able to help me work through it.
