Great marketing tool

Pros

I find it really easy to set up everything from marketing to registration and event communication.

Cons

I think the turnaround for fixing programming bugs is really slow and sometimes critical errors can't be resolved. For instance, if a speaker changes jobs, the system doesn't update their information dynamically so they can end up listed incorrectly.

New platforms could be improved

Pros

Setting up event websites is a breeze for me, with plenty of customization options and the ability to duplicate events easily.

Cons

Numerous technical glitches at the webinar/Zoom platforms when Bizzabo launched them, caused us to lose trust in this feature. We were looking forward to replacing our Zoom licenses with the Bizzabo "Zoom" platform, however due to our lack of confidence in the product, our staff feels too anxious and distrustful to use it.

Amazing for smooth hybrid events

Pros

We have been using Bizzabo for several years and the new streaming feature works flawlessly. I've hosted hundreds of sessions and managed multiple streams for different conference tracks with minimal issues. The setup is very convenient and adjusting for hybrid events is simple.

Cons

I wish there was more flexibility with streaming times for hybrid events. Sessions don't always start on time and the 20-minute cutoff after a session end can be a problem.

A Good Product with Potential to Improve

Pros

I love how easy it is to register and manage registrations. I also appreciate the ability to transfer, cancel, refund and upgrade tickets smoothly and creating my own registration form is a huge plus!

Cons

Customer service could definitely improve. I've had to wait a long time for answers and I often don't hear back from the representative without following up myself.

Bizzabo: A Solid Choice for Event Management

Pros

Bizzabo has some great features, especially the option to use a custom payment processor, so I'm not stuck with just Stripe. Setting up ticketing, registration and embedding the agenda on my website has been quick and the quality is impressive and customizable.

Cons

The ticketing system feels quite restrictive, lacking flexibility for add-ons and promo codes are also pretty rigid.

Great customer service everytime!

Pros

I really value the attentiveness of the product support and customer service teams. They're very dedicated to our partnership.

Cons

Development timelines and promises often seem to fall short. Many features we've requested since 2022 still aren't available.

Bizzabo: A Decent Option

Pros

It offered virtual programming and event management when we needed them most. The features are simple and my team was onboarded without much training.

Cons

Bizzabo has experienced several system outages, particularly right after we launched registration and again during the conference. We tried to get clarity on how these outages affected our data and ticket sales, but the support was limited. For example we had both in-person and on-demand sessions, and the agenda displayed them chronologically with on-demand at the bottom, which wasn't ideal. The abstract management feature didn't work for our review process, so we had to use another tool. At one point the speaker widget was out of sync with the live site/app, resulting in correction emails from VIP speakers about incorrect names and titles, even though everything was correct on the backend.

It's the key to successful events

Pros

It has solid out-of-the-box features and integrates well with Pardot and I like the webinar recording features along with Slack integration.

Cons

It's challenging to customize the website, registration forms, emails etc. Our on-site printing order was too small and the polling and media features in Ultimate haven't been rolled out yet. The polling feature isn't great and the single session feature for webinars wasn't available when we first started. When I discussed the polling features with a Bizzabo rep, he acknowledged that the features for Interact weren't good and recommended using a third-party polling system for Ultimate. The webinar UI isn't very user-friendly either, it's pretty confusing.

A very good Product

Pros

The team is highly responsive and very supportive of any customizations I need.

Cons

I'd love to see some features, like more flexibility for customizing the agenda and homepages and a better system for duplicating sponsors so we don't have to enter the same information manually each time for similar content across multiple pages.
