Pros
The system takes care of everything when it comes to ticketing and financial processing, so I don't have to juggle multiple tools to manage these tasks.
Cons
The setup and configuration process can be a bit detailed, and if I am not careful, I can easily miss certain steps.

It's a really thorough tool that can cover almost all aspects of event planning and execution, which makes organizing an event much simpler and more streamlined.
Cons
While the tool's versatility is a huge plus, it can also be a bit overwhelming at times. With so many options, the backend can feel a little confusing and isn't always the simplest. Also, I feel there's no built-in app, which could be a downside.

“Perfect system for organizing scientific conferences
Pros
I love how it covers all the bases, everything from submitting contributions to the two-stage review process, planning sessions, managing the app and handling participation fees.
Cons
When creating a session in the conference calendar, sometimes I have to drag the stack of presentations a long way before letting go, which can lead to errors. The final evaluation page for contributions isn't the most user-friendly either because lots of scrolling is required. Also the calendar view in the app isn't great and the list view gets confusing when there are multiple parallel sessions.

Pros
Converia really stands out because it offers so many options for setting up multilingual events, organizing ticket categories (including side events and workshops), collecting user data, managing sales phases and dealing with cancellations, including any applicable fees. Plus, it even handles our monthly interim billing.
Cons
Getting started with the backend can be a bit overwhelming at first. Voucher management, for example, has so many options, but they're spread out across different areas, which makes it tough to navigate without a manual. Also in the German version I'd prefer a less formal tone like using "du" instead of "Sie" would feel more natural in many places, though you can adjust this for emails and other communications.

“Converia makes every event effortless
Pros
For a company like ours, which doesn't specialize in events but organizes them only once or twice a year, Converia has been a game changer. It gives us everything we need like an event website, financial management, booking, ticketing, and more, all coordinated in one place. It's been a great experience.
Cons
As a graphic designer, I'd love to see more design flexibility on the website to make it look even more attractive. But for someone who isn't a design expert, it's super simple to use and more than enough for most needs.

Pros
The way the backend and front end work together is so helpful. The system increases efficiency by combining so many different areas of event management, everything from reviewing submitted papers and organizing conference sessions to managing participant bookings, ticketing, and even reporting.
Cons
I think some parts of the event configuration in the backend could definitely benefit from clearer explanations, as it's not always simple. The CMS can also be a bit cumbersome in certain areas.

It's a solid, efficient software that provides all the essential tools needed for a scientific conference. It's simple without being overly complicated, and the value for money is great. Plus, the Converia team was always alert to our respond to our queries.
Cons

Pros
The ease of use, the creative freedom it offers, and the fantastic support from Converia make it hard to beat. I like it very much!
Cons
When there are cancellations, I think it would be great if the system automatically refunded the amount to the payer, minus the cancellation fee, to save time and reduce manual effort.
