Understanding the platform was a bit challenging for us. It was easy to mix up the Guide and Check-In features. Once we clarified that, some teachers were able to check into sessions, while others kept encountering error messages.

I've tried the free version of EventLeaf for two smaller events (around 50 attendees each) and had a fantastic experience. Setting up a conference was simple, with plenty of options even in the free version. I was able to print attendee badges, set up exhibitors, and let each vendor add their own details. I also like that I can email attendees and attach PDFs if needed. For my next event, I plan to upgrade to the business version to enable attendee check-in, which is crucial since last year we had issues with people taking photos of our paper registrations. There are many features I haven't explored yet but as my business grows, I'll look into options like polls, attendee questions, and virtual features. I'll also start using the vendor registration next time as I've only used it for attendees so far. Overall it's easy to use, the customer service is excellent and the website setup is smooth. I absolutely love this platform! Before using this, I managed everything via email, which made hosting the conference much more efficient.

Cons

There aren't many color options for the overall event website. The cost for a business profile is quite high, although it's nice that I can email customer service for different options based on my event needs. I host a small conference once a year, so the base price doesn't really work for me. Tiered pricing based on event size would be beneficial.

“I had an amazing experience

Pros

We've found EventLeaf to be extremely helpful for our training events. We've used other registration software before, but none were as effective. We loved being able to customize the page with our branding, creating a seamless experience between our website and EventLeaf. We even customized the URL! Uploading contacts and sending communications directly from the platform was a big plus, eliminating the need for a separate tool. The software's layout makes it easy to manage all the different information. The default confirmation messages are great too, saving us from starting from scratch. We're looking forward to using Eventleaf for future events and only wish we'd discovered it sooner!

EventLeaf has significantly improved our check in process at events. Guests often comment on the sleek design and simple process. On our side, it's been a great help in organizing guest events during onsite demonstrations. The wireless badge printing and sign in system have kept our check-in area orderly and efficient. The data collection after each event is crucial for tracking our performance and attendee numbers. Most importantly, the customer service from Event leaf is outstanding, assisting with everything from billing questions to tutorials on maximizing the software's features.

Cons

We noticed that the badge printing quality on the iPad is lower than on the desktop. It would be great if the iPad app allowed us to adjust the printing resolution.

Pros

This is very well-organized software. It's easy to create engaging registrations for different types of attendees. The platform offers just the right amount of customization to create a clean design without being overwhelmed by options. The integrated electronic payments have simplified our workflow, and we're excited to explore the on-site features this fall! The dashboards and reports are already impressive, and we look forward to diving deeper into those.

Cons

I'd like to see more options for page design, especially in the general information section where formatting can be tricky. It would also be great to reorder sections and have the ability to upload a logo during registration, along with tagging registrants on the back end.

Pros

I love how easy the setup is and the automation features. This product is far superior to any others I've used. It even lets sponsors and instructors edit their own sections!

I wish I had a reason to use more of the features.
