“Template uploads save time”
Pros
Although the template asks for a lot of information and can feel a bit overwhelming at first, putting in the effort upfront really pays off. Once everything is filled out properly, uploading content into the app through the template saves a lot of time.
Cons
The Apple approval process was frustrating. The documentation didn't really match the actual steps so when something wasn't verifying the way it was supposed to, it was hard to figure out what needed to be done.

“Well-designed templates”
Pros
A lot of the heavy thinking has already been done and the well-designed templates make creating a mobile app for high-quality events much more simple.
Cons
I honestly can't think of anything I'd want to change.

“Easy to get started with”
Pros
Getting started as an admin felt a lot less intimidating than I expected because the platform was very user friendly. I was nervous in the beginning but the instructions, along with having a template from the previous year, really helped us pull all the pieces together. Entering everything did take a bit of time but the final result turned out really well.
Cons
It would be helpful to have a spreadsheet template for certain sections so uploading everything could be a little more manageable. There may already be one and we just didn't come across it but it would have been especially useful for things like speaker details and sponsor information.

“Affordable for us”
Pros
The pricing landed right in the range we were looking for and it was meant to connect with the different platforms we use.
Cons
Using it felt complex and getting data imported into the system was a challenge. Because of that, we ended up spending extra time re-entering information just to make sure everything was accurate.

“Simple for everyone”
Pros
It has been simple for both our team and the attendees. It's simple to set up and just as simple to use day to day. One thing that's been especially useful is being able to make updates while the event is happening. Our sponsors have also been really happy with the scheduled push notifications we can send for them throughout the conference.
Cons
At times, the schedule can feel a bit unclear especially when using the schedule module instead of the agenda module.

“Attentive team”
Pros
One thing that really stands out with it is the customer support. The team is attentive and the CEO clearly cares a lot about the product and the clients who rely on it.
Cons
The reporting tools aren't as powerful as they could be. That said, depending on what someone needs, the Eventpedia team is willing to work with clients to help answer specific analytics questions.

“Convenient mobile app”
Pros
Running events with it's mobile app has been a really positive experience for our team. It's user-friendly, flexible and simple to manage, even when things get hectic during the event itself. Our members consistently give good feedback about the app every year and we value how much it helps make their event experience more smooth and interactive.
Cons
A recurring challenge for us is with data imports, where we tend to run into errors. From what we can tell, these are usually caused on our end and we understand the templates need to be very specific to keep the data clean. Even so, we'd love to get to a point where we don't need to rely on the Eventpedia team to handle imports for us. Hopefully next year we can finally make that happen. Also because we don't use a database integration, our attendee list doesn't update automatically and needs extra attention on-site at the event which is tough when time is already limited. That's a budget decision on our side rather than an issue with Eventpedia itself since AMS integration simply isn't affordable for us right now.

“Complete conference tools”
Pros
Navigating the app information spreadsheet was fairly simple and the available features and modules covered everything an organizer would need to deliver a full conference information experience.
Cons
Getting the integrated exhibitor map and floor plan set up was a little challenging as a first-time user and I needed technical support to complete it. Aside from that, the rest of the experience was very positive.

“User-friendly backend”
Pros
The app's backend is very user-friendly and it lets me handle updates and edits on my own without needing a developer's help.
Cons
Honestly, I can't think of any downsides to this software. The developers have built a genuinely user-friendly product.

“Clearly laid out”
Pros
the content management system is very user-friendly and simple. Most things are clearly laid out so both admins and end users can usually figure things out without much effort. It really feels like they understand what customers need and have built the platform in a way that can scale well for different types of users and events.
Cons
One area that can still be a little confusing is handling time zones when setting up schedules especially when attendees add events to their phone calendars. Exhibitors also seem to have trouble updating their profiles and the instruction email could probably be clearer although not everyone reads the instructions anyway. These are pretty minor issues overall and don't impact the majority of users.
