Saves time and keeps everything organized

Pros

This software is incredibly well-tailored for catering businesses. It offers unique features that make handling our corporate orders simple and accurate, keeping our customers happy. With our previous supplier, we relied on offline spreadsheets to manage stock, costs and margins. Now everything is linked directly to our menu setup, saving us a lot of time and ensuring smooth operations. The production plans and reports are clear for our staff, who receive their paperwork and hardly need to ask questions anymore. Everything is quiet and organized in the kitchen.

Cons

I think the font size on reports could be bigger to improve readability.

Top catering software!!

Pros

Flex is easy to use, highly customizable and has excellent reporting capabilities. Most admin tasks can be automated, making our workflow efficient.

Cons

Any issues I've encountered with flex have been quickly resolved by their support team.

Flex is great at adding new features we need

Pros

Flex Catering software works exceptionally well for our company. Updating our menus and content pages is extremely easy and Flex is great at implementing new features. Our customers also appreciate how easy it is to navigate our site and place orders.

Cons

Sometimes when features are updated, they are not fully tested and I've ended up encountering errors.

We love Flex Catering, excellent tool

Pros

The order tracking, CRM, product management, integration with Xero, and eCommerce capabilities have been game-changers for our business.

Cons

It's easy for users to accidentally add products multiple times and it took me a bit of training to get up to speed on how to avoid this.

Outstanding product with amazing support

Pros

If a 10 were available, I'd give it that. This is a GREAT product, it's super user-friendly, with excellent customer support. Everything is fast, accurate and dynamic.

Helped us scale with ease

Pros

Flex Catering has driven a significant transformation in our catering business. It's improved our efficiency by automating manual tasks, allowing us to scale our operations. As a cafe growing its catering side, flex catering has suited our needs perfectly. The functionality is broad and well thought out, with regular improvements released. The support during the startup phase was very helpful, and they respond quickly to our support requests. The reporting and production functionality is excellent, and they set up our eCommerce site seamlessly, handling the domain setup and providing great guidance on SEO optimization. After reviewing and trialing other platforms, Flex Catering was clearly ahead of the competition.

Cons

The mobile-responsive design could be better but I know it's on the roadmap for improvement so it might have improved since I wrote this review.

It really Transformed our catering company

Pros

It has automated two or three manual processes that our team used to perform daily. With our new eCommerce website, customers can order directly, cutting out errors in order input. Those orders push straight into MYOB for invoicing, which is fantastic! Plus, when questions or issues arise, the Flex Catering team responds immediately, giving us great peace of mind.

Cons

I've had to adjust some of our internal processes and customer pricing to fit how Flex Catering works. This has created some extra work and occasional customer dissatisfaction but overall our customers are very happy with the new way of doing things.

Amazing service and support!

Pros

It's simple, easy-to-use software especially if you have experience with wordpress. The customer service is excellent, they're never too busy to explain things in detail. This has helped us achieve our goal of selling products online without hassle!

Cons

One thing I'd love to see improved is the ability to jump between products while editing them. Right now, I have to go back to the menu, which feels a bit slow.

It truly changed our business!

Pros

Flex Catering allows me to create a wide range of production breakdowns and reports, making kitchen production much easier. The ordering process is optimized and customer service responds quickly to all queries. It also reduces the risk of errors since clients can book orders directly online, minimizing manual entry.

Cons

It would be really helpful to have a Flex Catering mobile app. Since I'm often on the move, having access to our information while away from the desk would make things a lot easier.
