CVB is all about Meetingmax's awesome customer service and user experience!

Pros

I've found that MeetingMax offers a fantastic experience for making reservations. The software lets me edit wording and graphics in detail. Being able to hold rooms during the booking process is a game changer since it prevents us from competing to finish our reservations. Without that feature I've encountered errors when rooms become unavailable while I'm still working on my booking.

Cons

Sometimes, I find the reservations tab and the process of searching for a reservation a bit glitchy.

Top-Notch support and usability

Pros

MeetingMax is one of the most user-friendly software platforms I've ever used! It's simple for our team to set up, track and report on events and it's just as easy for attendees to reserve and change their hotel bookings. When I do have questions, the MeetingMax team responds quickly, is thorough and really knows their stuff.

Cons

I feel the system is too manual and admin-heavy for both our CVB and our hotel partners. I think we need more automation to streamline things.

Fantastic support and easy customization

Pros

I love how many features in MeetingMax are easy to use. The system is simple to customize and navigate. Whenever I have questions, I can reach out to the team and always get great support.

Cons

I haven't encountered any major issues so far; I'm still getting the hang of some of the new features.

More than just a partnership

Pros

Our hotel partners have told us that we're the best they work with among housing companies, which speaks volumes about MeetingMax's user-friendly product. MMX strengthens our connection with hotel partners, making it feel like family. As a family-owned business, we see MMX as an extension of our family because of their outstanding customer support. I feel like I know everyone there, even their pets! They take the time to understand us and our unique needs and they genuinely listen to our feedback. I really feel like part of the MMX team.

Cons

Whenever I have thought of a feature that I could use in MMX, I've discussed it with the team at MMX. They've either introduced me to a feature I didn't know about because I hadn't needed it until now or they've collaborated with me to develop or enhance something to improve my experience. While nothing is without flaws, I never encounter a roadblock with MMX, they always provide the support I need to keep me on track and moving forward.

Meetingmax is killing it!

Pros

The customization options in this software are amazing! Each event can have a variety of features and capabilities for guest communication, branding and room inventory settings. Plus there are different ways to manage the system, run reports, create alerts and send notifications. It really makes my work easier.

Cons

MeetingMax is still very simple and user-friendly, but over the years, I think it has gotten a bit more complex with all the added features. Navigating the system has become somewhat intimidating, as there's just more to learn and understand.

I'm a huge fan of Meetingmax!

Pros

The customer service at MeetingMax is top-notch! They respond quickly to my questions and clearly care about their customers. The Unconvention user conference is also fantastic! I learn so much and get plenty of opportunities to network and collaborate with other MMX users.

Cons

I have noticed that the rooming list process can be confusing for hoteliers, especially if the hotel isn't consistently in the system due to frequent updates. Also MeetingMax isn't compatible with Passkey, which is becoming an issue for our city since four of our conference hotels are Marriott properties and Marriott has recently started using Passkey.

Pros

I appreciate the speed and accuracy of MeetingMax. It's easy for hotel planners and customers, and their customer service experts are always just an email or phone call away when I need assistance.

Cons

There are small issues here and there but overall I really love the system.
