Support help build trust during implementation

Pros

Getting Alkimii People in place ahead of time was really helpful because it gave us a chance to get familiar with the system before things fully got underway. It also made a big difference that our Maintenance Manager had already used it at another property so there was some existing knowledge within the team. Another real positive was having the same contact person throughout, Naoise which helped us build trust, confidence and a good working rapport.

Cons

The training felt a bit too condensed and there wasn't quite enough time between sessions for the project team to properly review everything and set up the different parts. That said, we were implementing it during a particularly busy time of year and some project team holidays had already been booked which definitely added to the challenge. Even with that in mind, the support has been fantastic so whenever questions came up, we felt completely comfortable reaching out to the team.

Everything in one place changed how we operate

Pros

Having everything organized in one place has completely changed how we work. The whole team can pull up the information they need, complete checklists and report maintenance issues from anywhere on the property instead of needing to log into a PC. It's also really valuable that the system can be adjusted to fit exactly what we need.

Cons

Mobile app does glitch from time to time while completing certain tasks but it's updated regularly and it hasn't actually caused any real problems.

Instant communication keeps everyone accountable

Pros

Shift notes keep information moving clearly from one handoff to the next and the customizable maintenance features help us capture issue details really well. Instant communication improves oversight and it's simple to keep accountability and visibility in place across the team.

Cons

One thing that would make Shift Notes even better is having the ability to add tasks and mark them as completed or not completed especially for items that need someone to follow up later.
