“great value for SDS”
Pros
CloudSDS covers everything I need from an SDS system and the value for the price is excellent.
Cons
Honestly I can't think of anything about CloudSDS that I dislike.

“Free Hosting”
Pros
Getting started with moving and hosting domains felt confusing as a beginner but CloudSDS made the whole process clear and manageable. It was easy to understand and I was able to host on different servers around the world at no cost. Their support team was outstanding and helped me quickly during a very urgent situation.
Cons
I do not have any negative experience. If I had to mention something, their interface used to be very plain and basic so that might be a drawback for anyone judging the platform mainly by how polished the website looks.

“no vendor lock-in”
Pros
Moving to SDS feels future-ready because it removes dependence on a specific hardware vendor. Programmability and automation are a big plus and making changes or scaling capacity happens much faster. It also brings better overall efficiency.
Cons
One thing to be careful about is the design phase. The SDS setup needs to be planned properly especially around RAID choice, disk type selection, storage network design and network redundancy.
